We go to Holt Cafe ofthe but be I think today was the worst. Starting with hostes and her attitude which was horrible. Than no my favourite tea - a it takes to much afford.… to many guest and no option to get more than regular. Tea time was good our waiter Denis was good to but because of the start and few disappointments we will not go back fast.

First the good stuff. The greeting was very warm and friendly. I had indicated it was my sister’s birthday which they had on file but no one made mention of it. I was not expecting any extras just an acknowledgement. They were right on the ball with our request for vegetarian options. The service was great. Our server very attentive. Not so good was: The scones were quite dry. The tea lost its punch once the hot water was replenished. Found the bill to be very steep. I was expecting more from Jo Malone than the 2 samples

The Jo Malone afternoon tea was very nice. Holts was out of several options for the tea itself but I found a nice substitute for the one I would have picked. The sandwiches, scones and dessert were very good. Our server Denys was attentive and pleasant. The Jo Malone samples were nice although I would have thought they would have tied in more with their new holiday scents. Definitely would recommend! A discount code on your next JM purchase at Holts wouldn’t have been a bad idea!

Holtz and absolutely fabulous dining experience. Located a little bit higher up within the department store. Very nice little way to walk through the department store and just really refined brunch items you got to get the espresso martini you can just bypass everything else it’s it’s so good and not too sweet.

My 1st time Seating backs onto the window, it would be great to look out Had to send back caesar salad as most of the lettuce was browm wilted did get a replacement waitress/manager were very accomodating and apologetic

The food was alright — you get what you pay for. I'm not sure if they were understaffed, but we asked for the bill and either our server was extremely busy and didn't have time to bring it to us, or he forgot, but eventually a different server brought us the bill after we waited 15~20 minutes. Disappointing service, but maybe it was just an off day for them.

It is always a great pleasure to take my friend, who is in a wheelchair, to enjoy excellent meals. The service of valet parking makes our visit even more comfortable. This time, the only little complaint was the noise level. We couldn't keep up our conversation, but that is not Holt's Café's fault. The newly redecorated Holts Cafe is a lovely convenient spot for lunch downtown. It feels special and classy, which was what I wanted when meeting friend from out of town. We shared the Korean Cauliflower for a starter. It had interesting flavours but I found it a bit too saucy and didn't expect it to be breaded or feel breaded if it wasn't. Our lunches were fabulous. I had the Tuna Nicoise and. my friend ordered the tuna poke bowl. We were so full we had no room for dessert but agreed we would definitely come back another time.

The food was delicious ,hot and arrived perfectly on time (not too long not short a wait). The service is consistently excellent . Management has done a top notch job in selecting people that enjoy their job and serving the customer, creating an atmosphere where customers want to come back again. Totally enjoyable brunch and afternoon.

Amazing cafe that I hope you will try if you haven’t been there yet! I love this for a great place to meet up with friends and family! I’ve enjoyed Holts Cafe every time I’ve gone! The food is fresh and delicious sauces & dressings. I’m also love the desserts! One of the best in Toronto!

Saturday shopping and lunch! Great table. Serena was our waitress. Never missed a beat. Attentive but not intrusive. Food is fresh and good. Tuna Poke recipe needs an update. Pavlova with mascarpone cheese was as much a surprise as it was a delight.
