At Home Block Restaurant, we embrace the bounty of the Okanagan while our name pays homage to the Home Block Vineyard which surrounds us. Our building is crafted from fieldstone and 100-year-old reclaimed barn wood and our cuisine draws on those elemental roots. We integrate natural cooking methods like our wood-fired grill fueled by timber from local orchards and seasoned barrel staves.     Multiple dates available
    An immersive 5-course wine-paired experience built around our Platinum Collection of wines. This experience highlights some of the best wines produced at CedarCreek, thoughtfully paired with a locally-inspired, chef-curated menu and includes rare library-wine vintages for $185 per person. We do require all allergy information of the group at least 24 hours before your reservation. Our Chef's use these dietaries to create a single set-menu for the whole table. Guest's choosing not to partake in the wine portion of the experience will be charged $120 for the food only. All payments due at the restaurant upon completion of the experience. We look forward to hosting you!

    Was our 5th time there Brought friends with us to make them discover and asked in the comments to be seated outside They seated us inside Last year it was the same scenario and we had no trouble being seated outside We also were members of their wine club for a year Not impressed this time unfortunately

    I would certainly recommend Home Block at Cedar Creek Winery! My husband and I shared the delicious three course dinner and just added an appetizer! It was the perfect amount!     The food never disappoints dining here. Had the beef carpaccio and fried squid. Felt the beef could have been a little bit more flavourful, but it did allow the horseradish to shine. Fried squid was a touch on the salty side but ended up working perfectly with the beef carpaccio, balancing it out. I had the tagliatelle, which was a nice surprise! There was a lemon flavouring that made for a refreshing pasta. Hubby had the wild mushroom dish, and neither of us shared because we both enjoyed ours too much! Dessert for me was poached pear and hubby had the sticky toffee pudding, and again, both so tasty we finished it all before we could ask each other for a taste!

    What a wonderful meal and a lovely evening overall. Our server Jordan was a jewel, she dialled in to what we were looking for in our experience and delivered in spades. Food was exceptional and the wine choices were totally on point. Service was thoughtful, fun and extremely knowledgeable. We are already planning a return visit.

    We booked the 5-course experience. The venue itself is magnificent. Absolutely beautiful views and winery. The food itself was very well prepared and presented. Portions were larger than expected which was much appreciated. I must comment that the wine paired with the dishes were very good, but not great for me. I did not find that they enhanced one another's flavours but they were both very good on their own. I would give this overall experience a 5 star however upon arrival, we were not allowed to be seated outside on the beautiful patio as we were told the 2 open tables at that time was reserved for larger parties. With multiple couples seated outside, we offered to wait for an open table and return at a later time. We were declined twice and were escorted to an isolated table in the corner, away from the other guests. We were told the table is more intimate and quite for conversation. Off the bat we did not feel welcomed or appreciated. We were told to book at 5pm when we visit again, to have a better chance at being seated outside. We continued to have a good night and experience nonetheless but with a slight bitter taste in our mouths as we watched group and group being seated outside, after us, who got to experience the culinary experience they expected and paid for.

    Thank you for the feedback CardW. We do only book indoor tables and host the outside on a first arrive first seated basis as we find it is the only fair way to host the patio. I can see the the first table of 2 that was seated after you were was taken in an hour and a half after you were seated. I apologize this was a frustration for you as it can be for many guests if their preference is the patio. We try to make it clear that guests will likely be seated inside that is why you must click the 'indoor table' icon before proceeding with booking the table. I am so delighted to hear that you enjoyed the rest of the culinary experience you received and appreciate that you would have given us 5 stars had you been seated outside.     The wine pairing were spot on with the food. They were able to fit us out on the patio which we were very excited for. And got some beautiful pictures. We were very impressed with the open kitchen. Staff were all very friendly. We will 100% come back.

    Appys and desserts are amazing! But because the menu changes on a daily basis, the mains can be a hit or miss. The patio had so many gnats it was unbearable. The service is always really great and you don’t feel rushed. Wine, as always, 10/10!
