I’m sorry to complain but the chicken was a bit dry as well as the macaroni and cheese. Like they had sat too long waiting to go out. The mussels were excellent.
It took quite some time to get our bill a d the second beer ordered was forgotten completely.
Beautiful place, top service, an experience to visit.
We had a great meal. Everything was prepared fresh and hot. Large portions
Atmosphere was great, HOWEVER, my meal had a large rock in it.
Great for before the game as it's NOT a sports bar! Food was good except for the fish and chips. Garlic shrimp was fantastic! Chicken harissa was delicious. Prices reasonable. Very friendly staff!
Get the pancakes! Delicious!
Great food! Get the tofino fry, the burger and the fish and chips. Delicious!
great fast service
Would’ve gotten a 5-star if
We went to Honey Salt for my birthday and it was excellent. The staff are very professional and friendly. The food was amazing, even my boyfriend and my brother were impressed and they never are. To top off the evening the Honey Salt staff even had a birthday surprise for me…an amazing brownie with coffee ice cream and caramel sauce! Such a great time!
Great service wnd yummy food with plant based options thankyou 🌱
I was a little disappointed this time at Honey Salt. Experience last night was not what I had previously experienced which was excellent. Last night our waiter mixed up our order, he wasn’t as attentive as I expected. We had to keep looking out for him to wave him over. Two of us ordered the sirloin steak and requested medium rare, but both our steaks were cooked more towards medium. He didn’t offer us refills for our coffee, I had to ask. So, quite disappointed.
Beautiful ambiance. Went on Thursday with live music. Can't say I'd go when music wasn't playing. Bit on the pricey end, which is why going when the music happens adds to the value and stay. Great service!
For a restaurant that's inside a 5 star hotel, their service was the worst I have ever experienced. Standing at the entrance for a good 10 minutes before any hostess greeted us. I have booked a table a day prior, but the table they seated us at was literally at the door. We asked if we could be seated in the dining room area, the hostess told us the dining room is only for party of 4-6ppl. From what we can see there are quite a lot of tables that are empty. And we do see tables of 2 seated in the dining room. Not sure why the hostess just doesn't want seat us in the dining room. The hostess then lead us to a lounge table that has not been cleaned yet. And we had to wait for another 10 minutes before we received the menu. We ended up just leaving. And find somewhere much better to dine for brunch.
Sprite had no sprite in it, fizzy water.
Food was no very exciting, overall pretty disappointed
For such a high review place, service was non-existent. I would personally like to thank the manager for stepping up and servicing our food and beverage needs. Overall…will just stick to The Victor upstairs for dining at this Hotel.
I had been here when it first opened and was excited to go back but truth be told, nothing we had was exceptional and it was recommended by our waitress that we get the harissa chicken which came out dry. The mussels didn't have enough broth and were HUGE, which I am not a fan of. I did enjoy the korean chicken but not so much I would go back for it.
Unfortunately, we won't eat here again, too many great restaurants in Vancouver.
The happy hour is really worth a visit and includes beer in growlers and other out of the ordinary drink fair. No food on happy hour, but there are reasonably priced options.
Great food; however, service was very slow. We were waiting a good 20 minutes before our server finally came over. For the Friday cheese selection, it doesn’t mention on the menu that they are pre-selected and we couldn’t pick our own. Other than that, food was good and ambience was nice.
Disappointing to say the least. Over priced for what they put in front of you. We recieved our appetizers after our main course. Food wasnt prepared as ordered.
Over priced hamburger stand
We visited for drinks on a Saturday night and had a lovely time! The selection and variety of drinks was large and all of the drinks tasted good! Also recommend the truffle fries and roasted potatoes!
The service was slow , the calamari I ordered was over cooked , they provided with a replacement order however it very salty and pieces were overcooked. For price I paid I would expect better .
Other than a mix up
First of all, our server was amazing but the food and time it took was quite the opposite. We sat down and was greeted by our server and didn’t decide what to order for another 15 or so minutes. We ordered the truffle potato skins, which were amazing, and the maple hill chicken. The potatoes came out in about 10 or so minutes, that was reasonable. But our chicken took 40 minutes and in the mean time we were served this korean fried chicken on the house, but our server came by and wasn’t even aware we had been brought that dish. When the chicken finally came out, it was so disappointing. It was so dry and bland, the macaroni that came in the side just tasted like heavy cream and was so disappointing especially for being one of the pricier mains on the menu. Hoping to try their brunch in the future and that it won’t be as much of a let down as that evening was. The general aesthetic and decor of the restaurant is amazing and homey, but doesn’t match their service.
The bar tending staff were amazing and working like crazy, but I am not sure if it was just too busy and the restaurant couldn't keep up, but once I got moved to a table the wait staff was super slow, food was mediocre and the bills was over $200 for three of us. Disappointed in the food as it was just rigatoni but it was tasteless and pasta undercooked.
It's a shame they took more reservations than they had staff to handle. It took 50 minutes to get a drink other than water, which just seems wrong.
Nice atmosphere, menu somewhat limited.
service was polite and they did their best despite being slammed. The food hit the table before the drinks and one person received the wrong item, but it was quickly corrected. Would eat there again on a less busy night.
Great food and atmosphere. Not really casual dinning though.
Excellent food and service! Great spot to go to before the Eric Church concert!
Great meal and service!
great place for business lunch with beautiful decor, comfortable banquet and excellent service
Will come back again, thanks for the nice service.
The host gave us the worst table in the restaurant … it was an unset table for 4 with the banquette not lined up with the next and having to sit on the crack of two banquettes! There were many other tables around us that were set up with cutlery and glasses.
I realize the host is fairly new so didn’t want to say anything as the server did seem to speak to the host after we were seated.
Otherwise breakfast was good and the servers were pleasant. We had brunch the day before and despite it being very busy we had a more enjoyable experience with a very personable and friendly server.
The seats were dirty and they placed us at an awkward table in the hall way near the server station even though we requested a booth. The food portions are small but priced for normal sized portions
Very impressed with the service and the food!!! The cornbread... yuuummy,. Overall a fantastic experience all around and the decor was fabulous
Very good food and cool vibe. Enjoyed it.
Enjoyed the experience here! Just had appies but they were all delicious and decently priced. Ambience is nice, spacious and cozy tables with nice decor. Enjoyed the live music as well!
food was good. service was very good.
however. the music was so loud we could not have a conversation. Asked twice to turn it down. Not a place for a romantic dinner/lunch or business lunch; don't know why they feel they have to have the music so loud and intrusive. Seems to be a Vancouver thing.
