food was good. service was very good.
however. the music was so loud we could not have a conversation. Asked twice to turn it down. Not a place for a romantic dinner/lunch or business lunch; don't know why they feel they have to have the music so loud and intrusive. Seems to be a Vancouver thing.
Honey Salt is a great place to relax and enjoy. Wish the menu was a little bigger but overall a great place.
Amazing!! The decor is perfection !We had the special that was a Farro Risotto with Scallops and Pork Belly- it was amazing!! I’ll 100% come back here next time I’m in town!!
Server was lovely. Both the meal and the space very special to enjoy.
Thanks Giving Brunch 🙂
Great thanksgiving dinner!
We had a lovely thanksgiving meal, that was very flavourful. They allowed us to alter the set Thanksgiving menu with a different salad, which was appreciated as many restaurants do not allow any substitutions to a set menu. The service was amazing and they gave us a free sparkling wine for having to wait for our table. Very attentive service but not to the point of being intrusive and the food was delicious. Setting very open and welcoming. Will definitely return.
I and my husband took a couple of close friends out to Honey Salt to celebrate the combination of his birthday, our recent first wedding anniversary, and Thanksgiving. One of our party has a severe dairy allergy and her needs were accommodated with exceptional ease and grace. All service interactions were timely, kind, and very professional.
The food was of the highest standard. The three non-allergic of us had the Thanksgiving set menu which was a great value and though highly traditional, still innovating in several ways and prepared to perfection.
We went for Thanksgiving dinner and the set menu exceeded our expectations. The turkey was juicy and tender. The sides were excellent as well.
The music was too loud for us there. This is a consideration should we return. The service was a little slow but that could be due to the long weekend with server shortage.
Other than the music being loud, the decor and ambience is comfortable would recommend.
Nice place for dinner, the food was tasty. Live music was marred by feedback issues, would have preferred piped-in music. Service was very good, until the end of the meal when the dining room became busier - they seemed understaffed and our poor waiter was running around attending to too many table as once. I would not make a special trip downtown from the 'burbs again to go here, but if I am downtown already, I would definitely go here again.
Fantastic! Great food, great service.
Don’t order a Moscow Mule! Worst I’ve ever had. Dinner was good…not extraordinary. I’ve heard better things about their breakfast
Nice and clean.
The place is nice and the atmosphere is lively. The food is good but not great. Their Green Goodness juice is excellent though overpriced. Overall, it's not a bad option.
We were recommended this by a friend who loves this restaurant. Unfortunately although we had a table of 5 reserved, we were seated at a table of 4. Our server was distracted and perhaps not well trained. Our experience wasn’t superb. We would try again perhaps a different day and time. Food was fresh, just had order delays and mix up. But chalking it to an anomaly.
Service was very slow and uneven. Brought the wrong food to table. Took forever to get our food. Food was tasty and hot when delivered. Dessert was good but coffee was luke warm. Not sure if I wood go back. Ordered take out the next morning, food was not hot, missed the sausages and the stuffed french toast was burnt on the bottom. Would never go back for breakfast.
Jodi was fantastic! Foods always quality! Atmosphere comfortable and always enjoyable.
Cozy and relaxing place. Very good vibe . Good social distance from other guest.
Great food and service!
When we travel to Vancouver we almost always eat here at least once. Very enjoyable!
The service was friendly and prompt, except. we had to wait for the bill. The crab roll was good but the potato chips were stale. Our biggest criticism was the volume of the music - it was so loud it was difficult to carry a conversation across the table. On that basis alone, we won’t go back.
Rather frenetic menu, not really cohesive and average food at best
best fish and chips ever!!! honeysalt market platter is equally impressive.
The food was lovely, staff were amazing. We celebrated my in laws birthday it was perfect!
Went on a Monday so was very quiet, loved the interior design and decor so wanted to try it out. Our food came out a bit colder than expected, and the skewers were OK. We saw a mouse running underneath a couch but apparently it happens a lot... Anyways, the service was very helpful and friendly.
GF options are great here. Food was so delicious. Our waitress was working hard but it was very hard to hear her as the Music was really loud. Love the warm cream for coffee and wonderful detailed touch…
Gluten free calamari was a surprise to us and tasted amazing!!! And the pear gin smash was unique and very tasty The steak was not really worth the price point in my opinion. Our waiters were charming and very attentive. Nice first time visit.
It was okay. Not as good as it has been.
Great food, beautiful patio, excellent service. What more can one ask for at a Sunday lunch.
Great decor and menu options however, the service is just so bad. Snarky, slow and they make you feel like they are just too busy to deal with ya. While the menu and decor are mind-blowing, they drop the ball completely in delivery. I would say it would be to being understaffed but they had SO MANY staff chasing around. Just disorganized. We ate here twice as we were staying the hotel and had the same experience both times. And, oh, btw, the restaurant was totally empty both times but OpenTable showed limited reservations. So if you really want to go here - just show up.
right when we got in. everyone was very welcoming and when we got all settled down and sat to our table. Our server was really nice and answered all our questions. It's pricey but it's worth it. Since it's my younger sister 28th birthday. Why not treat her to a nice fancy breakfast. Food was amazing! The place is beautiful. We will come back again. Thank you!
Food was great! You get what you pay for but man the service is terrible! We he/they was not attentive at all! Kind of rude and one word one answer type of attitude. I’ve been here before and i don’t remember the service being this terrible. My drink didn’t come until after I finished my entree! Didn’t feel like staying and spending more money so finished half of my food and left. Don’t recommend this place.
Overpriced food. 25 mins to get a drink. Not impressed with this place at all.
Food was great as always, the service was a little lacking. I was there to celebrate my birthday and the receptionist wished me a happy birthday but our server said nothing or offered any celebratory desert. I’ve celebrated birthdays here in the past and they have been great!
Food was great. Service was awesome. Everything was perfect.
