The patio was comfortable and warm. I thought the food was really awesome and the service was very friendly
Great place for any time of the day. Amazing coffee!!
Staff worked hard to make the experience as good as it could be . Food was good but it’s still a patio with patio atmosphere. Just nice to visit a place we have gone regularly in normal times.
Great happy hour, loved the wine selections, muscles and fish & chips!
Loved the ambiance and really good food. Our server Susan was top-notch.
Great place! Server was excellent. Food was delicious. Best fish and chips I’ve had in a very long time.
Amazing service, tasty food, covid friendly! 10/10 would recommend.
My experience was splendid. I had AMAZING service from everyone who was working at Honey Salt. I hope their team treats each other well behind the scenes because out there they do so much to accommodate you. I had a call half an hour earlier than my appointment to let me know the time of the last call and also to come in earlier if I wish. I came, and it still was busy but a nice woman with short hair proceeded to let me inside and told me to wait for the other hostess to help me. The hostess told me to wait at the other front side of the hotel, and I talked to a man who was possibly another host or a manager. But he was so sweet also, he told me that it was quite busy so I had to wait for a table. I know it’s tough right now during this pandemic, I understand working at a restaurant so I didn’t mind waiting around, especially outside. But he was nice enough to even let me sit on the couch. I made sure to act my very best with my son so we don’t bother anyone. He was even willing to make sure to offer me drinks a bit past 9:30 since I was waiting awhile for a table. That didn’t have to be necessary too but they went the extra mile. The hostess came back and brought me to a table, & I definitely felt like my son and I were taking up lots of room since we were in the corner of the door but we were being really quiet so we figured that could make up for that haha (sorry about that by the way guys if you read this!). My waitress for the day was sooo sweet. It was an understatement, felt like she was around my age too. We had a nice convo and she was so accommodating, her name was Bianca I believe. My card wasn’t working either when I wanted to pay for the bill & I was anxious because I thought you could only pay with card there since the place was so extravagant, she accepted cash from me though which was great! The scenery and ambience was definitely cute and cozy, and it was a bit cold but tolerable. Super busy, so it won’t be a quiet place but that’s ok:)
The first time I went here for brunch I had an amazing time; great food, ambience and friendly service. Based off that experience I decided to book it again for my bday dinner with a few friends. Much to my surprise it was quite the opposite from my first experience. We don’t have high expectations when it comes to service, but she outright came across as she didn’t want to be there and was annoyed by us. She was not friendly at all.
The food was okay. There isn’t much of a selection from the mains for vegetarians so we opted for the sides menu. Taste; food.. value; awful. Very small portions at a cost. Our drinks were very... salty? LOL something I would not expect from a frosè.
I would only recommend this joint for brunch. Also hope that you don’t receive the same service my party and I encountered. Hopefully the server was just having a bad day and isn’t always that awful....
everything was great. no wait time as prior reservation made
service and food were on point
A difficult day for the house. Terrible weather so the covered patio, even with heaters, was uncomfortably cold, damp and windy. I spent a good part of my night watching staff and customers move heaters around. Server was excellent.
always a lovely experience, highly recommend the popsicles for dessert!
Great service and wonderful outside dining environment with tents, comfy chairs, heaters, etc. The service is top notch and food quality excellent as always!
We like the cozy feelings even after dusk
A fantastic local farm to table restaurant! The patio section is large and set up very nicely. The inside looked beautiful too.
The food came quickly and was delicious! The beans and blistered tomatoes stole the show and my friend loved their steak.
Our server didnt get her name but she is from Ireland. One of the best servers we have had in a very long time.
Birthday and congrats day for my friend!
Great new outdoor space !
An excellent patio for lunch. Nice ambiance, good food and lovely service.
Had a very less then acceptable experience on Friday night. Arrived for reservation and was told to wait eventhough table was ready. Sat down and nobody talked to us . Finally came and took drink order as it was closing soon. Started to clean up restaurant while we where still eating . Waitress told me it closed at 10 when it was actually 11
I had great time. Staff are very friendly. I felt comfortable and COVID safe there. Food presented nicely and taste good, except they confused about our two sandwiches orders and turkey meatballs had egg shells in it. I liked it was quiet and clean, and will be happy to come back again.
Great service and friendly staff. Overall atmosphere is quaint, comfortable, and welcoming. Some drinks are overpriced, though.
My birthday fell on the weekend right when the new restrictions fell into place. The weather for the weekend showed rain and wind. HoneySalt did an amazing job of transforming their patio into a warm and fun place. Although we were on the patio, it felt like we were still apart of the patio. They were very considerate of their customers by setting up heating and providing blankets. I was also impressed by their food (Biloxi Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich and Stuffed French Toast) - definitely better than expected. To top off our amazing experience, they also gave a complimentary mini dessert for my birthday.
Great service, location and ambiance. Would love to see more vegetarian/vegan options on your menu, and also oat milk as a non-dairy option. Would come here more if there were more options. Great patio set up to accommodate covid restrictions.
This place is GREAT! Top of the line food and amazing huge drinks menu, worthy delicious cocktails and a sexy atmosphere! I sat outside on the patio and I was thrilled with the service And kind waitress. Ordered a couple cocktails and my fav was this old bourbon with huge ice cube and was so perfect made ! I will def come back soon and get at job Honey Salt keep up great work !
It was my birthday lunch, the service and food was impeccable as always, they brought out a sweet treat on the house for desert 🎂
Requested a table near a window a few days in advance, and when we came to the reservation we weren’t even sat a normal table, but had to eat our meal on a couch in their entry lounge. We looked around us and saw many empty tables that were “reserved” and sat empty for the hour and a half we were there yet weren’t able to sit at any of them.
The food was very small portions, and the price didn’t reflect the quality or quantity to what we thought we would get. We left paying over 100 dollars a couple for a one of the worst brunches we’ve had in the city yet.
This is more a place to go for a a few cocktails before going elsewhere for a more enjoyable dining experience.
Delicious food and great vegetarian options! Cocktails were lovely and the service was awesome! Beautiful interior design too!
It was overall a great experience, I came here last time and the service and food was phenomenal. Service and food were great this time too but the buttermilk pancakes were subpar - dry and not very fluffy, reminded me of the storebought pancake mix.
We ordered steak took an hour
And server forgot about one of my order
Manny and the staff at Honey Salt made our Saturday night simply sparkle! Diverse and inspiring menu, great location in the Parq casino, warm and inviting decor with a hint of southern charm in the mix. We had the pork belly, mac n cheese and brussels sprouts and it was all amazing! The patio looks super inviting too, we will definitely be going back soon!
Fantastic service, as always. Great food and staff.
Loved the feel of this restaurant. The kids loved the food.
Our serve was amazing! The food tasted great! Everything was just really satisfying!
This is first time to go around Parq building. The Honey Salt is beside the street. Inside environment is so bright. I tried dine out dinner 2021, 3 courses for $39. The price is reasonable. So enough for me.
I would like to try pot pie and brunch on daytime with sun. So see you soon on next time.
We got some very good deals during the happy hours. And the society cake is enough for a table of 4!
