It was a lovely experience and was happy to enjoy a birthday brunch here.
I have a medical condition and a lot of allergies so eating out is often difficult but the staff here were fabulous in customising my orders. Thank you!!!!
It was amazing! Great food, great ambience and great service!
Had the scallop linguine, tasty but scallops were so tiny... a bit of a joke being so small on the west coast. $27 for pasta was a bit expensive considering the scallops. Waitress was wonderful. Society cake was good. Overall 3 out of 5 ... pricey drinks
Menu looked great but the food was a disappointment.
Our server was lovely and did a great job. The food just isn’t covetable.
Great experience overall! Servers were super helpful with birthday arrangements!
Please give me recipe for the hot sauce, thank you
First timers, loved it. Sat on patio, bit loud cause of street traffic but otherwise great experience!
Great customer service! Delicious and perfectly portioned bennys. Unlimited coffee is always a plus! :)
It was enjoyable on the enclosed, tented patio of Honey Salt. There was live entertainment with a singer & guitar player - nice to see and hear live music again. Thursday has 20% off Rose wines, good value. Food was very good and the service was good.
Had an amazing lunch.... outdoor seating very well set up. Great food choices. Good coffee and my Poke bowl was amazing..
Definitely a nice lunch spot!
Decor was lovely in the restaurant. The ambience was lacking because it was so quiet. Would be great if there was music or live musicians. Food was average but not bad. Service was friendly but lacking energy (probably due to it being extremely quiet).
Positive experience here. Our server was knowledgeable and really friendly. Food was tasty!!
There was still a limited menu for the Happy Hour, and it was a bit on the expensive side for what you get.
Great food, and Atmosphere, server and service was good.
Always love going to Honey Salt with friends. Service is always exceptional, food is always good and ambience is always great! I always recommend going here to my friends and family since each visit is always a great one.
Really nice service and excellent food. We had a great time!
Service was great but the food selection - vey poor. The happy hour menu was fit more to a pub not the restaurant. I had visited before and enjoyed very much but this time, the food was disappointing.
Insanely slow service even with plenty of serving staff around.
good food and experience. this was my second time at honey salt and it was still a wonderful experience
Brothers birthday weekend.
Service is slow and server fotgot what we ordered. Other things were all good
One of my favourite Vancouver restaurants with great menu selection and food, excellent service, nice ambience.
It was a last minute booking for my husband’s birthday as other plans fell through. We love going to Honey Salt as we are never disappointed.
Fabulous food, and superb service. We had the Haida Gwaii rockfish that was tender and flaky with a nice light batter.
Lovely atmosphere and service as always.
The service was amazing. Our server recommended an amazing drink choice to go with our breakfast. I had the breakfast galette & husband had the stuffed French toast. We both really enjoyed our meals. Finished with the massive high society cake - delicious! Highly recommend.
Overall, restaurant was nice. Host indulged us by showing all options inside, at the bar and outside and let us choose where we wanted to sit. Server came to the table about 15 minutes after we sat to give us water and ask for our drink orders. I ordered the Avocado Toast; when it arrived there was a small glass of green juice added to my plate which was not listed on the menu. When the server returned to check on us I asked what it was, to which she confirmed was the Green Goodness juice. When I told the server that I could not drink it because I have a ginger allergy (the Green Goodness has ginger noted as an ingredient) she sharply told me that I should have informed her about my allergy. I was unaware that the Avocado Toast came with a side let alone something that would include ginger. Server did not contact and catch on us again until the end of our meal. Disappointed by the server, might come back to give a second chance.
This place is my go to I love it here and one of the Filipino waiters is my favourite!
Our server made the experience amazing. So kind and receptive.
moe server are required in thsi restaurant, service was delayed.
It was terrible. I’ve been here when it opened and it was pretty good. Since then, this place has fallen apart.
Service - For a Saturday night, they clearly has a B squad staff on board. Which shows me that the restaurant is likely mismanaged and no one wants to work there.
Food - Was the worst part.
1) Heirloom tomatoes and burrata? - It was clearly BC Motts and burrata.
2) Strawberry Baked Brie - this was your typical Brie cheese purchased from Safeway, topped with a smuckers strawberry jam. Its was comical. But honestly maybe the best part of the outing if that’s saying anything.
3) BC Pink Scallop Linguine - was really looking forward to this and two of us ordered this dish. Portion size was for a 3 year old. Seriously like 4-5 bites coupled with 5-6 miniature baby scallops. All this was sitting in a heaping bowl of melted butter, garlic, chilli flakes. Arguably the worst dish I’ve had in Vancouver. (I dine out a lot)
4) New York Steak - My spouse got this and it wasn’t awful, but certainly wasn’t a good quality steak you’d expect. The worst part was that it was undercooked to her order.
5) Harrisa Chicken - I didn’t have it but it looked underwhelming.
Long story short, we split the bill with another couple and for $200 each it was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had in Vancouver. I’d rather dine out at Denny’s then go back for that. I will never step foot in there again. 0/10.
(I rarely write reviews)
It was great although we got our appys before our drinks
Thy seemed a little busy - but overall - great! Food / server, all good stuff!
The happy hour food was ok except the burger meat was burned on the side. The Moscow mule was so terribly sour which I suspect they overdid with lime juice (not real one but those sold in packs) that I couldn’t taste anything else. I don’t think I’ll ever return again for happy hour for sure. I remember their normal menus were average but I wonder if pandemic has changed their food and drinks. Won’t come back for awhile.
Great atmosphere and good service. Good was delicious. Would definitely return.
Father’s Day dinner
Our Food took 50 minutes to arrive at our table. Steak was cold when it was served.
Not the best service at all. From the waiter to food ordered been forgotten and taken a while to come. Which is too bad, I really liked the decor and the ambiance.
