   Always amazing. The beet loaf is the best thing EVER. My husband ordered two entrees. I ate every single bite of mine. So filling and so unique. (Even if you aren’t gf or vegan)

   Mid week lunch with friends. Parking available in front of the restaurant. Server was knowledgeable and attentive. Food was excellent. Salmon cooked to perfection. Sweet potato beignets were yummy. All were pleased with their food selections. Charming atmosphere. Not noisy.

   Lovely & accommodating for a last minute birthday lunch. As the number of guests increased from 6 to 9, the hostess kindly stated “at Honeywood, we love to see people have a good time”… Something for everyone from 14 year-olds to moms to guests with food allergies. Kids loved hamburgers, fries & mac & cheese. Moms loved salmon Caesar & Pamplemousse cocktail.

   We were slightly disappointed in one of the meals. The rabbit with the gnocchi was overdone and sparse. The other entrees of the crab cakes were fine. The restaurant was not crowded when we arrived but we asked to be reseated as the original location for four people was cramped so we were moved to a booth which was fine.

   Honeywood has always been one of my favorite spots in Lexington but I hate to say that it was quite a let down last night. Service was meh, our server was spreading thin due to short on staff for the night. She was nice though. The busboy, however, was rude! Took away our plates without even asking if we were done. When we protested, he just looked at us and walked away…. Foods - the appetizer (deviled eggs) was amazing as always. Shrimp and grits was average.. Would this stop us from coming back? No. Just hope that our experience next time would be better..

    The food here is always great. Today it was not. I only ate about half of it. The potatoes were burned and when they replaced them they were uncooked. The eggs were over fried and the grits and hoe cakes were cold. The meal was not up to their usual standards.

    Great dining experience. Staff was very courteous and helpful and food was fresh, unique, and flavorful. They have one of the best burgers in town, topped with cheese salad and caramelized onions.

    Love Ouita Michels restaurants but this is my least favorite. The service was understaffed and slow and the food wasn’t adequately seasoned. Regardless love visiting her family of restaurants and cannot wait to get back to others!

    Food and service was outstanding at Honeywood. Our party of 3 all ordered something different from the Brunch menu and enjoyed sharing and comparing. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious! We will be back very soon.

    Food and ambiance were very good. The smoked trout dip was super delicious and so was the hummus. Entrees were yummy. The service encouraged us to leave. Items came out at weird times, items were taken away haphazardly, we were not asked how things were or if wanted another drink, and generally our waiter seemed hurried, but the restaurant was not that busy.

    In town for an annual work conference. If held again in Lexington, I will absolutely look forward to eating here again! I made the reservation for a group of colleagues, and everyone was very happy with the choice.
