Had a nice lunch here. 3 fish and chips and 1 pasta. Everyone liked it. We are red two deserts to share and they cut them in half. Beautiful room.

An Eastern suburbs hotel pub restaurant with a good, energetic, friendly vibe for a special family lunch. Several tables of three generations seemed to be enjoying themselves very much. The roast of the day was superb - two large slices of beautifully moist and flavourful roast pork with perfect MasterChef crisp crackling. Vegetables of creamed corn, carrots and buttered cabbage were lovely accompaniments and generous country pub serves. Gravy was delicious and plenty of it.

The food was okay, presentation nice, but there wasn't a lot of it and it was very expensive for what it was. Fish and chips and a beef stew. Definitely not good value.

Arrived on the coldest night of the year so far. Was so warm and inviting. The slow cooked lamb shoulder was exactly what hit the spot. Delicious comfort food at it's best.The restaurant was buzzing with many locals. Highly recommend

Whole visit was fantastic It was our 2nd visit, we were very warmly welcomed and seated attentively. We had the Lamb Shoulder and the Beef Wagyu with a side of cauliflower Mac n cheese and it was all superb!! then petit fours for desert all washed down with some champagne and wine! Would have licked the plate if I could have, melt in your mouth food, just divine!! Definitely going back again and again & thoroughly recommend it!👍

It is a great source of amazement to me that a restaurant presents itself so that patrons have to yell across the table to be heard. It's ferociously loud. A romantic dinner? - Forget it. A chatty catchup with friends - forget it. A business dinner - forget it. The food was nice and the service excellent. When the waitress tried to tell us what the mackerel special was, she had to yell to one couple and then move to the other side of the table and yell to the other couple in order to be heard.

I never fail to be impressed by the Centennial. It caters for my dietary requirements, provides a good selection on the menu for those with no dietary requirements and provides excellent service, great décor and atmosphere, value for money and is simply becoming a regular restaurant for me to use.

Perfect local venue for a delicious lunch complimented with a fantastic selection of local and imported wines and beers and within walking distance to go and pick up the kids from school on time. Justin North remains as one of my favourite Sydney chefs!!

We went to Hotel Centennial for our anniversary. Being a Sunday lunch the dining room was busy, but the noise was such that it was not imposing or annoying - very good!The food & service was also very good. Possibly priced a little high, but being a special occasion this wasn't a problem.We will be back - but not for the full 3 courses!Next visit may be midweek as I think the menu may be (for want of a better term) "more gourmet".
