Wonderful intimate date night. Will be coming again for dates and group celebrations without a doubt. We arrived hungry and split 2 appetizers and 3 entrees. Thought we’d have leftovers but we ate it all! No room for dessert but with so many options, we know better now and will leave room next time.

Phenomenal experience. We had a bit of a time limit due to a concert, yet somehow the staff made it feel like an organized, perfectly timed out dinner progression. Sahand was exceptional, he attending to my food allergies seamlessly as well as took care with the smallest details on our table. My partner and I both cannot recall a recent dinner experience in New Orleans where we didn't have to worry about allergies being relayed properly, food available despite allergies, or service care to each moment of our night. It was seamless; the wine, food, desert and final toast at the end really set our night off on the perfect note. We appreciated the memory it forged and especially appreciated the team at San Lorenzo that made it happen. It was a nice break!

Ive been twice and both times there was a table of 4-6 women screamers! ....drunk yelling and obnoxious laughing. Seems like the Mgmt would at least ask them to hold down the screaming. The place is so elegant, its ashame that this conduct is allowed to carry on in the place. The screamers need to stay in the Bar if thats how they choose to conduct themselves. As much as we like the place, dont know if we will return.

Very high end property, but you can tell it’s corporately owned and out of step with New Orleans hospitality. Food was excellent but service was horrible for a restaurant which services a five star hotel. Waited 20 minutes just to get water and the brunch libations came out after the entrees were served.

The esthetic and service is top notch but the pricing is ridiculous! $20 for a tomato sandwich and $40 For a lobster sandwich!! Cocktails also average $18 and we waited 15 minutes for a drink with an empty restaurant. This place would be packed if they priced their menus better

Our party of four was seated at a wonderful table that I requested near a window. The food was very good, but the service was inconsistent. No one checked on us after we received our entrees, lack of attention to water glasses. Dessert was served without coffee which took an additional 15 minutes to receive. If you're going to charge over $40.00 for entrees, the total experience should be exceptional.

Service was awful. Basically none. Drank my bottle of wine from a water glass until i asked. 20.00 glass of wine look it was measured in a shot glass. Waitress never came to table to see if we needed anything. Had to get up from the table and get the bottle of wine. I am a local! Super disappointed

Our waitress Dominique made our experience pure pleasure. She remembered me from the last time I was in several months prior, and she reminded me of the wine I ordered as if I had been in the day before. That level of attentiveness made all the difference.

Our server, Dominika, was fabulous. She was so sweet and attentive. Food was really good, minus some shells from the crab in the Eggs Florentine. The zucchini fritti was delicious. Nice, laid back atmosphere with a chic, Caribbean-eqsue vibe. Really good overall!

Great experience from "foodies" that travel from NW Florida to experience different restaurants throughout New Orleans. The food was wonderful (Fillet, Porkchop AMAZING Caesar Salad) The staff attentive and very professional.

When having a special meal with important "family" friends (4 of us), we wanted all to be perfect and sadly it was not. My partner's meal, his ENTIRE meal was served first and was not acknowledged, changed, noted for over 30 minutes. Talk about awkward...my risotto was over salted, the filet mignon was quite small for the $40+ price tag, fish was quite good yet it came with asparagus/only 4 pieces and small...really? Desserts sold the show though...that lemon sorbet was so tart and fabulous and the chocolate mint...perfection...also the olive oil cake w/ peaches, fantastic...please know, we'll be back again as we LOVE our New Orleans! So many restaurants are struggling to have experienced staff, especially during the dead of summer...keep working on the "flows" of service San Lorenzo!

It’s a beautiful venue with a varied menu. Something for everyone . Overall the food was good, fries are great, salads and entrees are good but oh Lord the bread! It’s $5 for the bread basket. The WORST, driest, stalest bread I have ever been served. I’ve never had focaccia this dry. The seeded bun was just air and whatever that cracker like thing was, was awful. We couldn’t eat any of it. Note to chef: change suppliers or fire the baker. Pricy wine list.
