   Food was good minus the spinach dip, it lacked flavor. The service was good but slow. They appeared to be short staffed. Overall, it was a good experience and we would go back!

   Overall great meal. The only downside was the 6oz fillet was extremely small it seemed more like a 4 oz steak yet 6oz was ordered. Happy hour drinks wetr very good

   The food was pretty good and seems to be prepared in a consistent manner, which is good because you know what you’re going to get. The service was worse than normal, but our server also was taking care of a large party/table near us and this caused the timing of our orders to be problematic. Unfortunately, the person who appeared to be the restaurant manager, was busy on his phone and laptop rather than actually managing the restaurant and the staff. I also find it odd that the restaurant doesn’t have a power assisted door for the disabled, nor have they trained the hostess to help disabled customers enter the restaurant.

   Everything was very nice and our waitress, Emily, was great. I do have to say that my green beans were inedible. I don't like my vegetables cooked to mush and appreciate some crispness, but these were not even blanched. They were completely raw and I could not even eat them.

    We had to ask for our soup to be brought out before the food after waiting for 10 or so minutes. The reason we were given for the delay was "there are 11 carryout orders." My pasta was cold on top when it got to the table. We had a similar experience on our pervious visit. This may have been our last.

    We seemed to be sitting in a section where the server didn’t realize she had this table and even though there was a server in training, the service was poor. It is especially annoying when dirty dishes are NEVER removed from the table even when it’s apparent the customer is not in a hurry to leave.

    There was a decent ambiance, but wires were sticking out of the ceiling lights. Food was either too dry or drenched in sauce. The highlights were the drinks from the bar. The Pink Elephant is outstanding - a must try!

    Everything was wonderful except the table was very sticky… our glasses, plates, everything needed to be slightly “yanked” to release them from the sticky table. Service and food were both excellent.

    Not what it use to be! The menus is similar, the prices are higher, and the quality is not there. The tables are sticky and need to be refinished and other parts of the restaurant are getting shabby. They should either fix it up or get someone new in. There is a need for this type of establishment.

    I had a problem with my tomato bisque. It was not very hot and barely lukewarm. Not the thick and tasty bisque that is my favorite and order at every visit to Houlihan’s. ( No, I never return food, too afraid).

    One of our favorites. Only gave 4 stars this time as the portion of salmon in the salmon pesto seems to be shrinking. The scallop portion was the typical size. Otherwise service and taste of food great.

    My only complaint about Houlihan's is that they have eliminated a lot of the gluten free options that we enjoyed, wish they would bring back the GF flat bread at least.

    Houlihans is usually pretty good but last night it was not. My Mai Tai tasted like plain fruit punch, the garlic mashed potatoes were missing salt and garlic, the garlic green beans were missing garlic and were cold and the stuff chicken breast was good but had some burnt portions.     We have enjoyed Houlihans for years but this evening was not the case. Although our server was friendly and courteous it took an hour to get our food after we ordered it. As we looked around we realized she had every table in the bar area. When the food arrived the salmon was way overcooked and tough and the meal was Luke warm at best.

    The restaurant was busier than we have seen it in awhile, so everyone working there had to hustle. Food was a little slow to come out of the kitchen, as a result. But the staff is always friendly, helpful and attentive. And the food is always delicious. This is one of our favorite restaurants.

    Our server rushed us to order, then brought our food out after it had clearly been sitting waiting for them to pick it up. Our meals were luke-warm, at best. I had requested no tomatoes, but received them. This is a first world problem, but just added to the frustration. Manager was out front smoking when we arrived and when we left. We’ve enjoyed this restaurant in the past. Really shocked at the poor experience we had most recently.

    We both had the advertised special, Lemony Chicken Piccata (served alongside fettuccine alfredo), which was offered at $5 less than menu price of $17.99. We had reservations and the dining room was about 80% full when we arrived at 6:30. Our server was not overly busy but she was less than attentive to our table. Maybe that was because we did not order cocktails or appetizers. We had to ask for napkins and silverware when our dinners were served without them. A spoon had been inserted into the fettuccine for effect. When cutting into the chicken, it was obvious that it was overcooked and difficult to cut into bite size pieces even using the serrated knife provided. While nicely seasoned, tasting it confirmed that it was chewy and dry. The pasta, on the other hand, was undercooked by about two minutes. It was stiff and the spoon was ineffective as a tool in twirling it around the fork. The only excuse would have been if we had specified we wanted it al dente -- which we had not. Neither the pasta nor alfredo sauce were hot, indicating it had been plated earlier than the chicken. Our server never came back to inquire whether we were enjoying our meals. Perhaps she knew better than to ask? Her next visit was to clear the plates from the table. I had not finished mine because it was so disappointing, but I told her she could take it away. She didn't question why I did not finish or ask if I wanted a box to take the rest home. We ordered a dessert to split and only when serving it did she take notice that my water glass had been empty and she then offered to refill it. The Brownie Batter Cake was delicious, and provided the only highlight of the evening. Sadly, our food was mediocre at best. The same would be said of the service we received. I can overlook a disappointing meal prep, but only if the server shows an interest in making our dining experience a pleasant one. She didn't care about either last night. Sad.

    Reservations for St. Patrick’s Day at 6pm. Arrived before 6pm and immediately asked our waiter to hold out 4 Corned Beef/Cabbage dinners. She informed us the restaurant sold out at 4pm! I’ve been in the food business for many yrs and one would of thought the Chef & Mgr. would of reviewed the # of reservations and planned accordingly. To run out of Corned Beef dinners that early was disappointed. If we hadn’t had a couple joining us coming in from Powell we would of left! Your open table reservation app has our emails and should of sent an email out to anyone with reservations after the time you ran out of the special. Very unfair! So we had to stay. My husband ordered the Fish and chips and it was horrible. First, two very tiny pieces of fish, fries were so tiny. The entree didn’t even cover the plate. We are regular customers so we’ve had the fish before and it’s a nice size. We also waited close to 20 minutes for our glass of wine a draft beer. Service was very poor and food was very disappointing to say the least!
