    This place is amazing. The atmosphere is incredible and the building/decor is beautiful. Everything was delicious but we are still talking about the Cajun chicken pasta!

    The food tasted great however the steak was extremely tough. Service was slow. Waited over and hour for drinks from the bar. The manager did comp those drinks.

    This is the second time I've been here when visiting New Orleans. This time was a disappointment. The menu changed, and not for the better. The cornbread was dry, the gumbo to onion-ee. But our waitress wS the worst. This was the only poor experience on this trip. There are plenty of other fabulous places to eat in the French Quarter.

    I ordered NY steak and fries, it was the grisly piece of meat I've ever tasted. It was to be medium it was so cold the nasty butter that was on it didn't even melt. The ribs my husband got where drowning in sauce and over cooked. The sangria was the best part of the hole night. This was a trip for my husband's 5th birthday and I was so disappointed I cried at the table the waitresses was so sweet about because I was beyond embarrassed. Also no jazz band , I had a better meal and time on the queen creole boat ride. Just the the hard rock Cafe it's a tourist trap and stay fay away

    Service was slow and all food, apps and entree all came at once and were cold. Not the best experience in New Orleans. The place wasn’t even busy. Lots of empty tables.

    I had a reservation for 6:30, but was a few minutes late due to Krewe of Boo rolling. That didn’t make a difference as there was no one at the hostess stand. There was a party of three people waiting to be seated before I got there. We all stood there for about five minutes before the hostess came and seated them when it was my turn to be seated they put me at a table right next to another two top. The restaurant was not crowded so I asked if we could move because I don’t like sitting in someone else’s conversation. They moved us to a booth which was nice, but it took our server at least 5 minutes to come take our drink order another 5 to 10 to bring the drinks out. I asked for a straw but I don’t believe she heard me so I had to go get them from the bar, no problem. when the server came back, my daughter and I had ordered a salad to split and a gumbo. I asked for both dressings on the side and added shrimp. When the food came out, there was dressing all over the salad so we had to get another one, and there was chicken not shrimp. The gumbo was delicious and the salad was yummy I got the correct salad. The server came to take my drink for a refill and then proceeded after five minutes to go to another table. She came to check on us to see if we needed anything and then realized “oh I took your tea didn’t I?“ She then went and got me a refill. She was nice, but we waited over an hour and a half to get a salad and a cup of gumbo. This had been my first experience at house of blues. I would never come back.

    I had reservations here for Wednesday night not knowing their main restaurant was closed. No problem, still walked over to double check. Was greeted by not such a friendly African American lady. Told her I had reservations for dinner, was told they didn’t have dinner because the restaurant was closed. Another lady took the time to explain to me that although their restaurant was closed they did have a limited menu that night. Ok, cool no problem. Got seated and ordered food. My daughter got her food but mine didn’t come out. I asked the waitress for the status of my food, she said she would check on it. She comes back and tells me she got confused so my order was never put it. No problem. She supposedly puts the order in but after waiting 20 minutes I finally gave up and asked for my check. The food I ordered but never got was on my check, she took it off after I questioned it, no apology whatsoever. It was my first time in NOLA, definitely my last at this House of Blues.

    It is a shame that The House of Blues allows for Drag shows to trick people into believing that there will be a burlesque show, that appears to be women... but are not. Servers and guests alike were left in disappointment when realizing they had been fooled. This was suppose to be a fun date night... it was fun alright!! People watching at its finest. Husbands all around the room, complete disappointment. Wives promising that this is not what we signed up for. If you want to have a Drag show, that is fine... but the guests should be able to know that they are buying tickets to a Drag show... I hate to break it to the world, but not everyone wants to see p***s in pantyhose.

    As a House of blue was advertised live music. When arrived ro restaurant I ask the greeter if the table were able to enjoy the live music, he responded yes … which was not true. Very disappointed.
