We went for the lunch special. Hamburger and fries for $10.99. Waitress said we could substitute soup for fries. We both had the beef barley soup. It came luke warm. I had to find the waitress. She brought us new bowls of hot soup. We got charged $2 extra for the soup. Waitress should of informed us this charge at the time of ordering, Food was very good.

Food was great but I took my 15 year old son in for his birthday supper and I made reservations online to have a peice of strawberry cheese cake to be served to him after his supper and the waitress didn’t even acknowledge it or obviously wasn’t told about the service I wanted and there for I left pretty upset knowing it was my sons bday and no cake after his meal so we took him out to DQ , please communicate with your servers cause this was upsetting !

The food is always delicious, with good portions and reasonable prices. Servers and other staff are friendly and go the extra mile. The atrium is a great room with a patio feel (natural light, lots of room, high roof) but indoors, away from bugs and wind. Great for family, friends, couples, or special events.

Out with 2 other couples. 2 of us ordered the chicken penne and received cool pasta. 2 others ordered stuffed chicken and was quite good. Cream served with coffee curdled. Pastas were returned and served hot and coffee replaced. Just wondering about their quality control :(

Holy smokes the food is amazing there and so is the service!! They apparently have a huge sized restaurant with an indoor courtyard for being in downtown. Our booth felt very private and cozy for a date night! Service was very pleasant.

We were put in the back room where there were a bunch of tables all crammed together even though there were a bunch of booths and tables open in the actual Resturant. As it is an open area in the back everything echoed and the noise level was extremely loud with the waitress having to squeeze through every time to get to other tables . The burgers were expensive for the portion size and unseasoned. We literally received a handful of fries and a burger for over $20 which is beyond ridiculous. The waitress even made the comment “yeah you get really good portion sizes here” seriously? With the Happy Meal sized portion sizes? What a complete rip off. Before we were even ready to go or had finished our drinks the bill was given to us which was a polite way of saying get out now. It was an extremely disappointing dining experience and we will not be choosing to return here again.

So it was fine. The waitress was amazing but the food was just pretty good. There was 8 of us and half ordered the steak dinner, most had to send it back because they were way over cooked. The second ones were better but still over cooked. The waitress did discount those meals a bit so I’ll give them credit for that. It was just our group, as few others and then another larger group but the place was pretty dead and they ran out of forks which was a bit strange. This place was fine, the food was fine but the service was great.

This was my first visit and the food and ambience was great. I had gone for supper with a friend and the service was efficient and our meals came fairly quickly. The server was friendly. My meal portions too were a good size. I recommend others to try Hunger Cure as its a nice place to go for supper with family or friends. Good job Hunger Cure!

One of only a few restaurants capable of handling a group of eight on the evening we needed. Our server - Hanna - was great. Restaurant wasn't busy so food didn't take long, but some veggies were cool and a couple of plates seemed like they waited too long warming while other dishes were prepared. Steaks were cooked properly but not particularly flavorful. Would consider returning with a smaller group or couples.

Our food was brought out for three people . We had to wait a good five minutes for utensils and then we finally went and asked for some. The waitress came to ask how our food was and the fourth member of our party had not even received her food. By the time she got her food and we got our utensils the food was cold. The drinks were also very slow to be brought to the table.

Nice lunchtime meeting. The restaurant was mostly empty but a few more tables came in. They sat them right next to us which seemed a little weird since there was plenty of room to leave a table or two between us. Food is always good.
