We offer a unique-and-adventurous culinary experience. Our menu features small plates of exquisite chef-crafted fare that will surprise and delight you. From bone marrow to our famous Fried Chicken , our chefs take pride in preparing dishes that will make your taste buds and bellies happy. We loved our first time there - the staff were wonderful! Other than a few selections being a bit too spicey and the steak being a little chewy, we found the food to be creative and delicious. The service was a bit slow and we couldn’t enjoy our dessert as we had a hockey game to get to.

Food was amazing although the Sous Vide steak Denver which I came for was unavailable. Service was quite poor for the price and quality I felt the restaurant had set up. Took several minutes to be recognized and seated by host (even with reservation which we were on time for). Drinks took nearly 15-20 minutes to make (2 margaritas). This was an issue as this was intended to be a starter drink and I wanted to order a second rink a beer to pair nicely with my lamb shank (lamb shank was fantastic). Server rarely checked in on us despite there being 2-3 other tables present all night while we were there. Food came quickly which I appreciated but seemed odd that our drinks which we ordered well before even ordering our food came with our mains. The drinks were great but service was subpar given the price point and expected level of service. Server was kind and polite in all interactions (albeit limited attention given to us during our meal). I was served Guinness (from a can again another disappointment but not the servers fault), but given the specialty pour needed for a Guinness I was very surprised that she did not offer to pour it for me and was presented with a glass (again not a huge deal if this was the only issue but something I felt was odd and worth noting). I would return to the restaurant in the future but will have to see if service improves if not given the price point I feel many restaurants in the area offer far better service for the price and the food while good did not override my displeasure with the service. For a small restaurant it seemed odd given service for a restaurant of your quality is often an area that places choose to excel at to keep customer loyalty. I understand this may have been a one off bad experience and I hope to give you another chance sometime in the future but it may be some time before I choose to be a patron at your restaurant. Again food was superb but service did not match the food or ambiance of the restaurant.

Overall, we had a nice experience! However, our 10-yo daughter ordered the Korean fried chicken, which was too spicy for her. The waitress failed to mention that when she took our order. We had to place an additional order (the fried calamari), which our daughter didn’t enjoy much, either (they were soggy). We were surprised to see that the chicken wasn’t taken off the bill. Who would expect a child to eat a spicy dish?

Loved the menu but definitely check online in advance as it’s quite small. My husband ordered a cocktail which he never ever does, but it never arrived, which was disappointing as I was so excited for him!

They started a new menu since my last visit and I was disappointed that some of the items I really liked the last time were not on the menu this time. However the duck dumplings are absolutely amazing!! In fact all the food we had was delicious! It was a half price wine night on some of the wine which was a real bonus! At first the restaurant was noisy but then quieter as a couple of larger tables left. All the servers who helped us were very helpful and friendly! Overall a great evening! I will definitely go back!

They sat us at the end of the bar, even though we requested a table. Place is small, so woulda been ok, but there was lots of noise and they ran the server dishwasher every 5 minutes which sent vibrations through our chairs and bar table for the whole meal. Kinda ruined the experience to be honest.

Sent this to them on Sunday, no acknowledgement. We are fans of your restaurant group, originally lived in Hamilton. So happy when the mule and Hunter opened in London. Went to Hunter for hubbies bday in September, outstanding. Returned last night with our friends and it was quite a different experience. The souevis steak was so tough we sent back. We kept our 2 orders of lamb shank but to be honest it was tough as well, certainly not fall off the bone. Even the service was not up to your usual standard.

First time here and it did not disappoint! The service from Ainsley(?) was fantastic— she recommended some great food and drinks! Cocktails were on point as well as the food. Good price for the amount/ quality that you got.

Bone marrow was disapponting, not sure if the bone itself did not have enough bone marrow or the bone was overcooked, but it was a really narrow strip of bone marrow that even butter knife could not fit. Otherwise, great ambience, great tasting food.

Food was good but service was lacking. Absurd amount of time to wait for a cocktail. They always have a great selection of oysters, though they don't grate their horseradish fresh and give you the lemons that have been zested from the bar. One would think if I'm paying almost $6 for 1 oyster, the least they can do is provide a fresh lemon slice.

Hi Stefan, I'm sorry to hear about the service issues you faced during your stay. Our target time for cocktails (from the time they get punched into the system, to arriving at your table) is 12 minutes, the reason it's so long is that we make everything from scratch, no batching. If it took longer than 12 minutes, I do apologize. As for the oysters, we typically use freshly grated horseradish, but must have been out of it during your stay. All of these issues have been discussed with the staff, and we hope that you consider trying our restaurant again sometime soon.

I sat at the bar and was served primarily by Allie. She was prompt, attentive, warm, knowledgeable, and overall a total joy. I had come in hoping to try a feature cocktail, unsure if they still had the feature running. While they no longer had all the ingredients, Allie made something custom for me using what she did have available and it was delicious. I also tried the Season For Peaches, which was a smooth, rich autumn dessert cocktail. Food-wise, I ordered the Southern Fried Maitake. Having never tried maitake/hen-of-the-woods, I wanted to give it a go, and I was so impressed. Excellent umami flavour, crunchy batter, and a creamy dressing balanced by the bread and butter pickles. 10/10. The atmosphere of the place was chill and moody, and you could see the chefs enjoying themselves while they worked away in the kitchen. One of the chefs even came out to help the servers shuck oysters. It was nice to see that kind of collaboration and sense of community. It was a lovely experience and I'll definitely be back soon.

Varied menu, fabulous service and amazing food! There was a great variety of share plates - and we managed to choose 4 - our favorites were the calamari and the "to die for" duck dumplings! The shrimp were a close third! We would definitely return!

We had a great team dinner here - food was excellent for sharing and everyone was able to get something they liked. Service was fun and friendly throughout, and we were never rushed. Our dining experience was excellent last night! Our server Alexandra was great, she was very helpful at recommending dishes and helping us decide on things to order & everything tasted amazing! We got the bison skirt steak, birria tacos, fried calamari, & the grilled cheese and they did not disappoint! I will definitely be going back and will tell my friends and family to give it a try.
