   We always enjoy going for Sunday brunch at Hunter’s… the live music is well done and the right choice of music for that time of day. Service and servers get a huge 10 out of 10!

   Great restaurant with an outstanding menu. We had the halloumi starter, served with small pita chips on a lemony arugula/tomato salad. So tasty. My partner had the buttermilk chicken sandwich with fries (loved it) & I had the ratatouille on smashed potatoes (I’d give it an ´ok’ as it was heavier on the potatoes than on the rest of the vegetables). The beer menu was the best I’ve seen, with an emphasis on local varieties. All said, a hug thumbs up for this hidden gem.

   I’ve come to hunters numerous times with my family and date night with my husband. Hunters is our favourite restaurant in Ottawa. The food is amazing and we have never been disappointment. My husband loves the chicken bacon penne and I always go for the meatloaf or fish and chips. The servers and staff are super attentive and give genuinely amazing service. They also have live music on weekends and brunch on saturdays and sundays. If you haven’t tried hunters I would definitely recommend.

    Love it every time I go... friendly, professional service, wonderful food - and now that the weather's good, the outside booths are great! (They do have blankets if it gets breezy.) So glad this is close to my home!

    We've been going to Hunter's for a while but haven't been in a while. The food and drinks were delicious as always. We had requested a high chair through our OpenTable booking and they seemed surprised that we needed one when we arrived, though one was eventually found and provided. The service was very slow, despite us being there for brunch and it not being overly busy. As we got ready to leave, we overheard another table being told about specials that were not presented to us. The live music was lovely and our daughter was enthralled with the music! Overall, it was a fine experience but I am not in a hurry to go back.

    Second time there, fantastic food for our party of 4. Great food and great ambiance with cosy outdoor seating options. Recommend this pub to meet with friends, to enjoy super delicious food and possibly to hear live music.

    I have always enjoyed this restaurant, the service is great, friendly and helpful! There are many options on the menu, and everything I have eaten has been great! The only complaint I have is where we were seated. The stools are very uncomfortable, if there was more comfortable seating I would definitely go more often.

    Great ambience. Excellent selection for drinks. First-rate appetizer. Server was most attentive. Unfortunately my beet and walnut salad was not what I expected, and the bun for my roast beef dip was too awkward for dipping. My husband said his hamburger was good. We will come again. Hopefully the main meal will be better.

    Food tasted great and there was plenty of it. However the live music was loud and made conversation at our table difficult. We changed tables to be away from the musician but it was still a bit too loud.

    My birthday was this week. I celebrated at Hunters with friends on Tuesday. It was so good that my family had take out on Wednesday and I met my parents there for lunch on Thursday. Consistently excellent.
