   Would definitely recommend this as a "fancy dinner" option over Flemings just across the street for anyone with kids. Much better kids menu and the service is impeccable.

    The food was good but not great. Server and kitchen made little attempt to accommodate food allergies. Lots of noise. Sounded like someone was vacuuming while we were eating. For the cost of the meal we were not very satisfied

    I can’t remember our waitress name, I never really do but she was phenomenal! She helped us out with the menu and suggested a nice wine that my mom loved. The manager was very nice too. I went to the bathroom and almost slipped on the floor and he was right there to catch me. When I walked out he made sure that it was a mat put in place so that it wouldn’t happen again. Definitely will be visiting this place again!

    Stuck at table whose chairs faced the wall. Service was sub-par. Food caused gastrointestinal distress that lingers. Wasn't allowed to have dessert in only carryout. Never was asked if we'd like another beverage from the bar. Was just here 3 weekends ago and it was great.

    We each had the Early Nights specials. They were delicious, as always. Our server not only remembered us, but remembered our favorite orders from start to finish! Very nice touch. The managers, hostess, and several servers welcomed us back also. We had a great dinner again. Thank you

    Everything we ordered was pretty good EXCEPT the steaks. And this is a steakhouse. I've been here 4 or 5 times and each time the steaks were terrible. Gray, fatty, terrible. My tab was 450.00 for two of us so I expect a lot more than this. I'll be trying Fleming's for now on.

    My specialty cocktail was awful. Food overall was excellent. Loved the beef, Brussel sprouts were awesome, augratin potatoes were excellent. Didn't enjoy spinach augratin. My waiter didn't give enough info but the managers stopped by multiple times to make sure we were happy. My deconstructed scores dessert was fantastic. We for sure will return.

    This was our first time at Hyde Park and it exceeded my expectations. We were celebrating my son’s graduation from UofD Dental School and definitely wanted something special. Our party was seated at a semi private family style table which was perfect. Christopher was our server and was amazing. He was so personable and professional. He is truly a gem! The night was amazing and we left well satisfied. I highly recommend this steak house for your next special occasion!

    Although it seems elegant, there is some to be desired. Front desk does not smile nor is friendly. Waiter didn't give us the time of day nor offer his name. Two gentlemen sat near us and he was all over them. "Hello, my name is Anthony and I'll be taking care of you. Have you been here before? Let me explain our steaks. !!" We got water from him and an "I'll be right back". What? Wasn't asked for another drink, when we did see him, when mine had been empty for awhile. Other servers were attentive and friendly. We saw tables turn over after we were seated! Ordered at 10 to 6, food came at 10 to 7. Maybe saw him twice in that time. Have been here before with similar results. Thought we'd give it another try. We're done. Too many restaurants out there that do care.

    Steaks, salads, and vegetables were very good. Service was very slow as the tables around us (some who were seated later) were getting the food much sooner and had far more waiters checking in on them. Not our favorite visit

    We had a very poor waiter, was more concerned about waiting on other tables rather than us. There were three of us, my son, my wife and I for my wife’s birthday he did bare minimum brought the food never ask how our steaks were. Mine was overdone, but I figured by the time he came back, I might as well eat it because I would not get another for another hour, we won’t be going back .

    This was our first time at Hyde Park, food, and service were above the top. However, the smell in the women's bathroom that they claim they cannot get rid of will most likely stop us from ever dining there again. Many ladies also voiced the same concern.

    Service was great although I would’ve love for the server to be a bit more conversational, get to know us a little. We asked for our tomahawk steak to be cook to a medium temperature which it was around the edges, however about 1 cm into the steak it was medium rare. I didn’t wanna send it because the flavor was good once I got past the thought of too much blood for my taste and starving myself the entire day for this dinner. When the steak came out the runner was struggling to put the plate down “which was no where near big enough for the steak” and the presentation was subpar. Just a few touches that could’ve made the experience remarkable for my first time being at Hyde Park Prime. The manager did come by to congratulate us on our anniversary and the card with desert was a fanatic touch, which is why I would come back a give them another chance.

    Really enjoyed our dinner at Hydes. Really nice server, Sam, and my double chopped salad, ribeye steak and au gratin potatoes were hot and delicious. Steak was cooked perfectly. We look forward to returning to this restaurant!

    For the price point it would be better if some type of dress code were in place for customers. Additionally it was not great to have a ladder and tools laying out on the walkway to the main entrance well after the repair people were gone for the day. Filet was not cooked according to order.
