   We went to Hydra as a couple. I believe that when we were asked "would you like to start with sparkling water" it should be made clear that it's not free. I noticed most other tables had the water as well, so this is a reliable earner for the restaurant. The four-dip platter starter was very good. The moussaka and chicken souvlaki were good enough but only average in terms of taste, which was disappointing considering that they were on the expensive side. The chicken skewers on the souvlaki platter were cooked exactly right, not over- or under-done. All the Mediterranean vegetables were nicely cooked without being over-done. I enjoyed my glass of ouzo and my partner's cocktails were perfect. Our server was attentive without being annoying. We didn't have desert because the first two courses were enough. The atmosphere was buzzing and there was enough clientele in to suggest the restaurant is quite popular. This was our first time here, but I don't think it was quite the "wow" we were anticipating for the cost, although good, so we probably won't be back.

   Great experience - we were staying at the hotel Exchange and heard about this restaurant so gave it a try. Glad we did - food and service excellent

   We order a couple of family style platters to share, two family member is sensitive to parmesan and we asked to have parm on side for our lobster pasta, pasta came with parm on top plus a side of parm. Also wished our server would have told us the pasta we ordered is spicy when we have a three year old plus two seniors in the late 70’s sharing the food. Server also took away our wine glasses without asking if we would like another bottle of wine. Overall not a great experience, would not recommend Hydra to others.

   Came here for my birthday dinner and was treated to a card and a cake by the restaurant. It was a wonderful experience. I look forward to my next visit.

   Great place! we tried a sparking wine made in Vancouver and it was delicious and very affordable. Food was very tasty!

   We have enjoyed and dined here on numerous occasions. We dined here on the weekend and quite honestly was disappointed... in the past with our grand daughter the skewer of souvlaki chicken and fries was complimentary when spending $ 470.00 The prices are definitely a lot higher now(32-34$ for appetizers!)for the price the filet steak (69$) I had was ok but nothing special

   As always Chris knocked it out of the park, this time with choosing our menu for us. I brought 3 friends that had not dined here before. The entire experience was to date the best one. Thank you for elevating out business meeting Chris and for the special anniversary treat!

   Our main reservation about Hydra was that the waitress repeatedly came to remove plates and glasses before we had quite finished.

    The server was very professional and helpful. We were seated quickly and the food was amazing. We got sat by the window which was the icing on the cake. It was my guests birthday and they asked if we wanted dessert, we assumed that we got to pick her birthday treat. Yet the dessert and birthday treat came out. We should’ve been warned, in my opinion but other than that small detail it was perfect!
