Really good meal, our server gave us advice on what to eat. Tuna was delicious and perfectly cooked. My partner had steak cooked perfectly. All served up exactly as we wanted. Really good wine choice.

We were greeted by friendly, knowledgeable waiter. We ordered calamari to start and it was SO GOOD! We then ordered the souvlaki platter to share for our table of four and were very pleased with the meal. Great presentation and perfect amount for 4.

We had an unfortunate start at Hydra. Our reservation was late, the bar tender seemed annoyed by our presence, and once we were seated a party that was sat after us had the food order taken before us…. That being said.. we had one of the managers come over to our table to help get out orders in. And from that moment on our server also followed up and offered a free dessert. By the end we were very happy. So for me it is 4-5 stars. 5 star finish that is for sure. The food was amazing, the drinks were delicious! And by the end the service was also exceptional.

Appetizer of tzatziki was very good . Enjoyed family style meal of chicken, beef, prawns and salmon. Salmon, was outstanding, beef and prawns were very good, chicken was ok, over marinated. Vegetables were overcooked. Service was good, reservation was 6PM, we were not finish our meal by 8 so we were moved to a different table, that was no problem for us . Music was a little too loud. Would eat there again.

I don’t normally write reviews. We had a reservation for 930 (with the kitchen closing at 10). As soon as we sat down they rushed us through the menu (saying we should have looked at it before hand and have our courses picked out) and made us feel incredibly unwelcome because they’re “kitchen was closing soon”. We weren’t even the last reservation spot. They then made some excuses as to why the reservations on OpenTable were until closing which did not make a lick of sense. We were so appalled we left to go to another restaurant without eating anything.

Food was amazing. Rose sangria was okay. Beautiful experience. Upstairs was very loud, very small tables for Mediterranean was odd. Moved downstairs to much better table, was able to share plates way more comfortably here.

We went for the buck a shuck oysters. They were great but they only allow you to order 12 at a time for the entire table. I made a reservation through open table and when I arrived the hostess said she didn’t have my reservation. I showed her and she still had to create a new one and acted as if there was a chance we wouldn’t get a seat which was pretty disappointing. When we sat down at our table the hostess asked if 1.5 hrs would be long enough for us. This turned me off a bit and took away from the overall experience. I then felt rushed as the waitress handed us our bills without us even asking for them as a signal to hurry up. We ordered some breads with dips, oysters, brussel sprouts and the tomato and feta salad. I would never order the tomato and feta salad again as it was something I could easily make at home and they gave you a small piece of feta and the tomatoes were a bit mushy. I would return for oysters again as this is one of the only places to get them for a buck each during happy hour.

Wife’s birthday, not what we expected. Food was Lukewarm when it arrived at table. I mentioned to waiter it was my wife’s birthday and he surprised us with a small plate of chocolate cake and a candle. Later when we got the bill there was a $14 charge for the surprise cake which we never ordered. My wife doesn’t even eat chocolate. I ate half to take the bad look off the situation. Wife wanted to complain but I thought what’s the point. Anyways that’s our Hydra experience.

Food was delicious as always. I've been at Hydra many times but this time the service was very slow. I brought my friend who is a wheelchair user for his birthday lunch. It was his third birthday celebration at Hydra. He also noticed that the service was very slow and his birthday dessert which server had told him would be on the house but he charged for it. We didn't make any issue. We paid the bill and left.

Party of two promptly seated upon arrival. Eggplant appetizer & grilled vegetable platter were good. Entrees were excellent (Halibut & lamb chops).. smallish pours on wines but otherwise a great meal. Food + drinks + tip $160.

It was not a very welcoming experience to be told twice before I even had my napkin on my lap by two different people what time we were expected to vacate the table for the next reservation. Kind of just soured the experience. We won’t be back.

The leg of lamb was superb. I do think the sides that came with it could have been larger considering the size of the roast. The "seafood tower" is definitely not worth the price. Very small for the price. But the lamb was so good it still deserves a high rating in my opinion.

Lamb chop was the best lamb chop I’ve ever had. Seafood tower with Mediterranean twist was interesting. Service was ok. Bit slow on quality check after serving. If I go back, it’s purely for lamb chops.
