    Service was impeccable from the moment we arrived. We were in to celebrate a Birthday and they ensured we had a great experience. The traditional steakhouse look, feel and quality is definitely not lost at this location. Will definitely visit again.

    Dino and the team delivered an incredible night: delicious cocktails, the best Caesar in town, a succulent 32oz ribeye cooked to perfection, and bananas foster to top it off. The recommended wine was also superb. 🙏 (Personal preference is for live music rather than DJ...)

    The service was great. They had a live DJ playing some classical music. They have a happy hour only in the lounge and they were nice about moving us into there rather than the dining room. The food and drinks were all very yummy.

    First the good. Service exceptional, cheese toast great, table side ceasar salad very tasty. Our potato was cold and the steak was fine but not with the price tag in my opinion (we had the bone in rib eye, and while the cook temp was good the cut itself was quite thin and was cool when it came out). Great ambience but sadly the food missed the mark.

    Hard to beat Hy’s food wise and our server John was awesome. He is a very well travelled young man. He is also a chef who chooses to work in front of house for now. He was really great. It was nothing formal, but it was my wife’s Birthday. They could have seated us more intimately that’s for sure . I requested a quiet table for two, but Calgary is a young town, a bit pretentious for what it has to offer and it’s cliquey. But, I know that so it’s not a big deal. I have been to all of Hy’s Canadian locations except Ottawa and Winnipeg.

    The food and the service were exceptional. We were in the library and it was slightly distracting to have the staff restocking some of the wine during our visit. Outside of that is was "as expected".........Hy's is excellent and you always provide a consistent quality experience.
