Hy's Calgary is a modern rendition of the classic steakhouse tradition. Pride of place is held by the circular, glass enclosed grill room, producing perfect charcoal grilled Canadian Prime Grade steaks. The horseshoe shaped bar is surrounded by lounge and dining spaces that are both spacious and intimate. The menu features classic and newly imagined recipes, but Hy's favourites, like the famous Caesar salad and Steak Diane, are still prepared tableside. The extensive wine list, and delicious, hand crafted cocktails, promise something for every taste. Whether for lunch, dinner, or something in between, Hy's promises a timeless and memorable experience.     A great date night with my wife. The live music in the lounge was great and Patricio made us a delicious Caesar salad and took excellent care of us. The 20oz bone in ribeye was outstanding.

    We had a fabulous meal couldn’t fault anything. We received excellent service from our server Dino. We would highly recommend a visit here.

    We went to Hy’s for my husband’s birthday. We hadn’t been in a few years, so we’re excited to go back. The service was fantastic, but the food unfortunately was very average for the price tag. We were a bit disappointed.

    Food was ok but not worth how expensive. Hoping for a quiet birthday dinner with my wife however the bar music/DJ over-powered the entire restaurant. On the positive note….our waiter Tony….was outstanding.

    Our first time in Calgary was made extra special thanks to Dino, our server. He provided amazing service—he was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive throughout our meal. Dino is by far one of the best servers we've ever had, and we will definitely be coming back because of him. Thank you for such a memorable dining experience!
