Best steak and table side caesar salad I have ever had! A bit pricey but definitely worth every penny!
The whole experience was excellent. The dinning room with open windows and gentle breeze. The prompt and excellent service. The presentation and taste of the dinner done as requested.
Overall, I thought my experience was mediocre. To start off, the service was overall quick and the atmosphere was pleasant. There were a few things that made me give an overall 3 star review. I'll start with the food - I thought the meal was overall good. The meat was excellent but aside from that I thought the rest of the food was good but not exceptional. I would say aside from the meat, it didn't warrant the cost that we paid for the meal. In particular, we had steak tartare with crostini that was very stale. Not just slightly - very, noticeably lost-its-crunch stale. One thing that concerned us was the lack of attention to food allergies. I have a mild seafood/fish allergy and most places, particularly upscale places I go ask about allergens at the beginning before any food is served. Hy's did not. Furthermore, I realized after eating the steak tartare that it contained anchovies, which was neither written on the menu nor told to us upfront. Thankfully, my reaction was very mild but this could have been very dangerous for someone else. The staff replaced the dish but overall the attitude about that incident was what we thought overall nonchalant. The drinks were excellent.
Overall we thought it was okay, but expected more for what we paid.

the lunch on the patio was the usual first rate experience at Hy's. The building next door is being dismantled and the jackhammer experience on concrete was only shut down for an hour.
Only issue we had was my wife’s steak. She ordered a filet at medium and when we got the meat it had a smell and a weird taste to it.
We eat fine dining almost every day so we know how an aged steak should taste.
My steak which was done blue and Chicago style was amazing like Hy’s always does. We also had the scallops and bacon which was also amazing hence why we keep coming back.
Ps we loving the new location.
I have been coming to Hy's for years. Excellent food, exceptional service and great ambiance.

I really enjoy the dinner at here. I was fan of the restaurant even before it move to new location. Everything is good, but the just the lady set next to our table was really rude, frequently looking at our table, I did not know what is her attention......😑. Overall, I really recommend Beef Wellington!!
It was just average....I expected more from Hy’s which recently reopened in a new location.
I am hearing impaired and can always gear my husband at Hy's. Wish they would enforce a dress code. T shirts and ballcaps aren't acceptable.
A good competitor in a very crowded market. Not up to standards of Jacob's or Habour 60 as to quality of service, but noise level and ambience exceed their competitors.

New location is nice and brighter than the old one but the food was just okay. Escargots was good to start as was my husbands salad beef Wellington was just okay and a bit overcooked for my liking. My husband had steak and lobster and his steak was perfectly cooked but the lobster was a bit tough. Service was good but surprised no one offered pepper when the courses were delivered. For the overall price of the dinner we won’t be returning. The value just isn’t there compared to other fine dining restaurants we have eaten at.

the food are perfectly coked. but the meat has lot of tendon inside. And the table was too small for four of us. Other than that everything was great specially the service
