Menu
Ordered peppercorn new York steak. Came just anew York steak. When we told the server, he took the steak to the kitchen. They put some crushed peppercorn on the steak and brought it out. Highly doubt we will be back. Keg restaurant will cook a new steak and won't charge. FYI.

Best food we’ve ever eat, me and my wife ate in almost all of the steakhouse here in Vancouver and this place is the best so far, kinda expensive in terms of price but every penny is worth it

Everything was wonderful. My partner and I felt very safe with the covid measures being taken. Our meal was without fault, we ordered the steak a la hys and the evening special bone-in 16oz and a side of mushrooms. We didn't initially want to order appetizers as we didn't want a huge meal at that time but our server recommended we try some cheesy bread which was delicious and just enough to fill us with our steaks. We plan to return to try more items on the menu.

New year’s eve
My husband and I celebrated his birthday at Hy’s Steakhouse 2 days ago and it was a marvellous evening: incredibly good Chateaubriand for two; excellent and well-paced service; delicious wine; amazing cheesecake for dessert. We hadn’t been there for a very long time as we’d moved away from Vancouver for 25 years but we’ll be returning soon! Thank you, Hy’s and Max, for making his birthday special!
