Incredible ambiance. Food well prepared and tasted exceptionally delicious. The waiter was such a delight as well as he knew how to make my hard to make drink that nobody knows about. He sure knew it, I was extremely impressed. It was very respectfully quiet, quite enjoyable. I recommend this restaurant for dinner and lunches, it felt like being transported into a world of class within entering the building.
My boyfriend and I have never been to Hy’s before and I decided to take him there on Saturday, Oct 10th for his birthday since he loves steak! I requested for a nice table and they placed us upstairs near the wine bottles and it was perfect!! Our server was very pleasant and informative (I forgot his name sorry) we ordered a bottle of red wine, cheese toast and Hy’s signature Caesar salad. The cheese toast was so delicious .. I could eat it everyday! Our server prepared the Caesar salad infront of us and it was the best Caesar salad we’ve ever had! I could eat that everyday also :P Shout out to this other server who let me take a peek inside the wine room! Thanks for the tour :) For our main course, my bf got porterhouse steak with mashed potatoes and I ordered steak Diane with mashed potatoes and green beans and we also ordered brussel sprouts to share. They were all excellent. We really loved our experience here and we will definitely come back for another special occasion. Thank you so much for making my boyfriend’s birthday memorable ❤️

Hys is a Vancouver gem that is always top notch my opinion best steakhouse in the country.
