Jill was amazing! Our food was delicious! Beef Wellington is the best! Also have the banana Foster’s. We love everything on the menu and try to visit at least 4 times a year!
The server was outstanding and the food amazing
It's pretty simple: A truly handsome room, perfectly cooked steaks like nowhere else, a wide selection of accompaniments, the best caesar salad I've ever eaten, and the prelude to a great meal, "cheese toast", with a unique and flavourful mix of cheeses to get the palate warmed up. Polish that all off with one of Hy's delightful desserts... the key lime pie is killer, and the cheesecake is delicate and wonderful, and you've experienced culinary heaven.
Went to Hy's for my wife's birthday dinner, what a great night. Great food, fantastic service and another birthday memory.
My New York striploin had to be sent back twice. I ordered the steak medium rare and it came out well done. The second time it came out it was blue rare. They offered to throw it back on the grill or make me a new one. By this time my family had almost finished their dinner. My daughters chicken strips were also over fried to the point it the texture was like eating a chip. The server took my steak off the Bill and offered a free desert. It was my wife’s birthday and it was really disappointing to have a bad experience at this more upscale steakhouse. You would think that a steak house of this caliber would be able to perfect their steaks to order.
Follow up, the manager contacted me and this was resolved to my satisfaction in a professional manner. We will be back to give them another chance.
