We have dreams about i Ricchi's fried chicken Sunday special. It sustained us during the pandemic shutdown when we would pick it up as carry-out from Chris Ricchi herself at the curb. Now we are thrilled to be able to, again, sit in that gorgeous dining room and enjoy it with a cocktail and a beer. Started with the remarkable burrata salad, devoured the fried chicken,and finished with the amazing rocotta cheesecake. There's no more special place to enjoy an end-of-the-weekend dinner than at i Ricchi. We sat inside but will try the covered patio next time. That's going to be our go-to spot for warm weather dining. FIVE STARS!!!

We were so excited for our meal after reading a number of very positive reviews but were incredibly disappointed. Everything was mediocre at best. The ingredients seemed store bought other than the pasta which was homemade, yet chewy and tasteless. Sauces were bland, salads small and very uninspired. My squid ink pasta consisted of four small, tasteless, obviously frozen shrimp and a tablespoon of chopped tomatoes. Find someplace better.

It was crowded late on Easter Sunday afternoon and that affected the pace of the meal, which we felt actually improved the experience. The special holiday menu was wonderful and varied. The food was very good with the possible exception of the calimari/shrimp/etc which two in our party felt was overly salty. The portion sizes were perfect. The strawberry dessert was amazing. It was good to see so many eating at one of our favorite restaurants in DC.

Truly disappointed at our meal here. Although the food quality was good we had issues with the service, overcharged items on our bill which were not corrected and portion size. One example; we had ordered a half order of pasta as an accompaniment to our entree. An entree portion of pasta was priced at $25 and we were charged $20 for the "half"portion. I addressed this twice with the Manager and she was sorry and dismissive. Understanding our complaint she stated that there was nothing she could do. In these very difficult times for restaurants one would think that they would value their customers and want to come to a resolution to keep them as customers. I do not lodge a complaint lightly and to have my concerns met with this level of disdain I would NEVER advise anyone to spend their dining dollars at this establishment.

After 10 days in Italy we dined at i Ricchi and it was the best Italian meal we had had in weeks. Moist flavorful fish; a variety of mushrooms cooked perfectly.

Went with my son during birthday weekend. It took 1/2 hour after ordering to get appetizer. The server pushed the calamari saying they were “the best In Town” they were rubbery and tasteless. We ordered a bottle of sparkling water and it was almost $10.00. The server got our order wrong. The meat rigatoni has no meat. The special pasta with mushrooms was very tasty. I do not recommend this place at all despite the special being good. A patron next to us suffered similar issues. There were barely 15 people in the place.

As always i Ricchi does not disappoint! Milenase (veal chop breaded and pounded thin) was spot on! Beef Sufi rigatoni was excellent also. Service was patient and very attentative!!

My husband and I went to I Ricchi for the first time for a quiet meal to celebrate my birthday and had a great experience. The decor is that of a traditional fine dining Italian restaurant and both the food and service were excellent. Our waiter was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the menu and we the squid ink pasta dish was a standout. Whilst ordering drinks, my husband mentioned it was my birthday and they brought out dessert with candles and a happy birthday sign, which was very thoughtful. And the tiramisu was one of the best I've ever had! We will definitely return here.
