Great lunch, perfect service and super ambiance and the food perfect. We will come back!
A special night with another couple! My husband and I loved the tapas bars in Barcelona, so this was a refreshing and excellent choice after 12 days of cruise dining. Our server steered us toward a chef’s tasting menu, and every choice was divine. We sampled sea bass, smoked octopus, shrimp and lobster fritters, and paella, to name a few.
Very average on all fronts with the exception of a nice private import wine and a sweet waitress.
Lovely restaurant, staff were amazing. Out favourite meal in montreal.
Our server was terrific and made a great first evening in Montreal for us.
Excellent food and service especially PATATAS BRAVAS!
Asked for a recommendation on the wine and was given a glass and then told it was 60$!!!!
Felt like I was taken in......
Excellent comme d'habitude !
Paella végétarienne délicieuse et au poulpe également !
Had lunch with work colleagues and loved it! Will definitely come back .
Our experience at this restaurant was outstanding. We enjoyed it so much, we decide to go on back to back nights to try new tapas. If you’re visiting Montreal (or live there for that matter) make it a point to try this place.
Had a few tapas plates to share. The service was excellent and most of the courses tasted great. Overall a good experience although I didn't walk out planning my next dinner there.
We spent a wonderful evening at Iberica. Beautiful restaurant, with an old world vibe in a modern setting. The food was delicious, their pan de tomate was even better than in Barcelona! Cod fritters were light and of course patatas bravas, with a refined twist, super tasty. Wonderful fresh fish and ceviche and an interesting wine pairing from the Canary Islands. The best part was the service though, welcoming and attentive. We will definitively be back!
Amazing experience for 30th anniversary dinner! Excellent service!
Truly amazing food, service and ambiance!! Loved everything about it..can’t wait to go back 😘
We had a great birthday dinner for my girlfriend at Ibérica! We really enjoyed the oysters ceviche, the romesco scallops, the grilled octopus and the Spanish charcuterie. Our waitress was outstanding. We loved the industrial decor with the high ceiling and the gorgeous chandelier. We will go back!
Great service, good selection of wine, good food! Good to bring a client.
Our party of 6 had dinner on 9/10. Every dish was spectacular. Our server Maria was awesome! She helped with ordering portion sizes and recommendations. We tried the ham and the lobster coquettes, two paellas, (with lots of grilled veggies) ribeye, tenderloin, octopus, anchovie tapas and tomato salad dishes. The octopus was a definite favorite. We picked a whole fish from the ice display that was grilled perfectly and served table side. For dessert the cookie dough donuts were just the right ending. Our group had one vegetarian and a gluten free diner. Everyone found several dishes to enjoy. The mushroom side was delicious enough to be a separate dish. The Spanish wine selection was diverse and the house wines by the glass were nice pours. The only downside were the dirty martinis which were made with olives that had pits and not cured (somewhat typical in Canada but Not the USA) We will return every time we are in Montreal!
Boring food. Overpriced
Very boring fish and hospital style vegetables
Always great...... so on their game, never a misstep.
Very good resteraunt ,very friendly and helpful
Seating outside was nice, but there were lots of bees in the lavender around the patio. Somewhat loud on the street. Food was excellent though. We tried something from every section of he menu and enjoyed all of it. Good wine as well
First the positive. Great decor. Friendly welcoming from hostess, waiter and staff. Nice open kitchen where you can see the team at work. The place gives the impression of being a Spanish version of Café Ferreira. Unfortunately, it is limited to the decor only. The menu is quite exhaustive so we asked the waiter to prepare a menu for us, knowing that my wife wanted paella and I was curious to try one of the house "specialties", bavette of pork. The waiter asked if any of us had allergies, which was not the case, but did not fully explain what he had chosen for us. We expected more seafood dishes based on what was on the menu. The joselito ham was a disappointment. The paella had a good variety of quality seafood, but was very salty. The bavette of pork was cold and the meat was hard. The chimichurri sauce was ok, but not memorable. Despite our disappointment, we nevertheless ordered dessert and chose the chocolate mouse with "fleur de sel" and olive oil. The salt on the mousse felt more like kosher thick salt than "fleur de sel" and the toasted pieces of baguette that accompanied the balls of chocolate ganache made the dish somewhat odd. We do not know why the waiter did not offer us coffee. Finally, despite the very nice decor, the music was inappropriately loud and energetic. It felt as if we were in a supper club but without a dance floor. Would not recommend for a nice date with your loved one.
A bit pricey but worth it. Most of the servers great but a seat at the bar ensures plenty of help
Delicious tapas, good wine, friendly service. A bit pricey.
The food is delicious, all the staff there are excellent and friendly with great smile. My family and I enjoyed the dinner a lot. Lovely.
Great food, lovely waitress, litlle bit noisy. Pricy but worth it.
Delicious food, warm & friendly service, chic atmosphere, perfect place to cozy up with a loved one. Will return!
Had an overall amazing dining experience thanks to our incredible waitress Caroline. She really made the night special for us.
Great seafood and veggies cooked in a special wood oven brought from Portugal. Great cava as well!
First time awesome experience.
Second time quite poor! Pork arrived cold! Warmed up then but overcooked!
had to leave 2/3ds.
At least you did not charge for that plate...the appropriate thing to do.
Excessively noisy, hard to carry a conversation.
I will try it again thinking of first experience.
Very pricey for small portions ; while the seafood tapas / dishes were very tasty and at par with other better tapas restaurants , The flet mignon bits were dry , overlooked , and barely enough to be picked up by one fork!
One of the best value downtown for lunch.
The service is very nice, the food so tasty and fresh. A pleasure overtime.
Excellent service .
Bonne bouffe et une terasse très agréable.
Overall great experience - food and service !!!!
