Paella à l'encre de seiche, 1/2 homard, pétoncles, palourdes et seiches [Squid ink paella, 1/2 lobster, scallops, clams and cuttlefish]
Frites maison, sauce Brava, aïoli [Homemade fries, Brava sauce, aïoli]
Coca con Tomate
Pain coca, tomates fraîches, huile d'olive Mallafré et fleur de sel [Coca bread with fresh tomato, Mallafré olive oil and fleur de sel]
The food was amazing!
Great service. Though Pan con tomate, in my experience, doesn't come topped with manchego (though on the side is always great). Also I've never seen patatas bravas in the shape of potato wedges. Was hoping for a more Spanish experience
This place should be put out of its misery. It is living on past glory. The menu is overpriced with badly prepared food. Some of the staff are capable and trying, the rest are waiting for 2005 to return. Our food was tasteless, precooked and reheated tapas - terrible. We have had tapas in Spain, this isn't remotely in the same category. Do not waste your money, there are many good restaurants in Montreal, this isn't one of them.
We had very good service .Food was very good except for the cauliflower which was wilted. Table was near the washroom and the door stayed open after use.
Sit near the front order one of their delicious cocktails and enjoy the food
We had an excellent time at Iberica. Our first time. The wine was very good as were the Tapas. A bit loud for our tastes but otherwise a great experience.
Terrible service overdone food for an expensive restaurant one should expect much better staff needs training off our list!
Every morsel of every dish was a treat to the taste buds!
The waiter was not polite and the food was extremely sub par. Having spent close to a couple hundred dollars this service and quality is not expected or appreciated.
My hotel concierge recommended Iberica, so I tried it out. I wasn’t disappointed! The restaurant has a great ambience, despite the COVID related precautions like perspex between tables, which didn’t really intrude and gave a feeling of comfort about sanitary precautions.
The menu was varied with lots to choose from and very well presented. Also a good wine list. Service was prompt and friendly. It had a very Spanish feel both in atmosphere and menu.
All in all, a great choice. I’ll be back!
Interesting menu. Well prepared food. All levels of staff show a passion for good food and enhancing the customer experience.
Great service & ambiance! Would go again
Iberica never fails to impress. Their service is impeccable and the food is mind blowing.
Enjoyable, with great service. Good range of menu options. Paella was great! Ask your server for ideas on appetizers and the wine list.
Upon entering the restaurant we were charmed by its decor and its smells! The food is delicious, and the staff very attentive, we were well advised both for the wine and for the meal, a fantastic dining experience, well done!
Not sure the jamon iberico was real bellota ham, didn’t seem fatty enough
Delightful meal! Excellent food and spectacular service. Would visit again.
Just outstanding - Great service -Amazing food , Best spanish food in MTL really close to the real thing! It was my first time we will be back soon with friends!!!
I was planning to have a small snack and drink before my late night meal at the place, I ended up with a very satisfying dinner. I chose the location because it is very close to my hotel and it is convenience to everywhere else. It definitely exceeded my expectation on simple tapas and drinks.
The clams I had was lovely, it was very tasty even though the portion looks small, along with the bread and its tasty sauce, it just filled me up. The atmosphere is very comfortable, I would highly recommend it for you to come with your friends; it would be a nice place to chat.
Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to go upstairs to check out the second floor and i didn't want to random roam around the place since we are in a global pandemic.
Be careful with the sink after you go to the washroom, it is pretty but also quite hard to control the water level, plus the water is quite hot if you don't know how to adjust it.
Employees are a very friendly; I had a nice chat with the Hostess to keep me company after she was aware that I came from Vancouver for the weekend getaway in Montreal by myself
I finally tried a paella and it was disappointing: the rabbit was not tender at all, the amount of rice was quite minimal and overall the dish was excessively salty.
My other experiences at Ibérica were good though.
My wife and I came to celebrate our honeymoon in Montreal with Iberica as our first stop to dine. The staff clearly saw my note on that and made our night very special; great table, plenty of attention to detail, overall and 10/10 performance. The food was the real show stopper though - expertly plated and perfectly seasoned, with portion sizes that gave you enough while leaving you dreaming about more.
The service was fantastic, food was great. Would come back!
We had an amazing dinner, best Spanish food I have ever eaten outside of Spain.
Yummy yummy food, awesome service of many different people looking out for you confort & serve us over and above (was like a ballet of servers!) I would not only recommend this place, but of all the places there are to eat around there, I would only choose this place...
Beautifully designed space, but extremely noisy. Prepare to shout all night. Cold reception from host at the door. (Exasperated because we were 7 instead of 6, as per reservation). The service was attentive but almost too much: Server rushed to pick up empty plates, even if some guests were still eating. This felt more like a cantina as opposed to an upscale restaurant. The food was good, very little green choice - as per traditional Spanish fare. The space is long and narrow, and as a guest, you feel like you are always in the staff's way. The location is a less than cool neighbourhood, so it is more of a "destination" as opposed to a "drop by" place. The ratio food/price was out of balance. Honest food, but really too expensive for what it is. I would not go back, mostly for the poor reception we got and for the deafening noise.
Fab-u-lous! Excellent food selected by Mario and his team for an impromptu tasting menu. We will be back!
My wife has celiac and the staff went out of their way to accommodate her dietary restrictions. We both raved about the food. Would go back in a heartbeat.
Great food, great service, great wine.
Uncomfortable booth, should have cushions. Mtl a table pork dish could use a couple more pork slices. Food was very tasty, will go back.
On vacation in Montreal and we were looking for a nice place to enjoy a higher end dinner, so we tried Iberica. Some guy who was supposedly their wine expert recommended a Spanish white which we decided to try. The pour was maybe 3 oz of wine for $18 per glass. Two sips and it was gone. So in order to avoid mortgaging the house just to have wine with dinner, we decided to order a bottle of a little more expensive wine from the same region. Their wine expert guy warned us that it is a very complex wine, as though we weren’t capable of appreciating it. Again, he left us with a two sip pour. After one sip, I attempted to pour more wine in my wife’s glass and then a little more in mine, when a waitress dashed over and literally ripped the bottle from my hand. I’m assuming this was intended to demonstrate high service, but it was just rude and offensive. The various tapas we ordered were lacking in flavor. We had the oysters for an appetizer and they were really good, but the food QMT downhill from there. The table was wedged between two other tables separated by glass dividers. But you were literally inches from the adjacent table. $300 that I’ll never get back.
Overprice, overcooked, nothing special. Good service
The food and service were excellent. We had a very wonderful evening. We will definitely be back .
