Great option for heated patio and consideration for Covid-19 protocols.

The atmosphere was nice, only downside was that our mains arrived around 5 minutes apart, but that didn't take away from the overall experience. Will definitely be coming back.

Great to be right in the thick of the action sitting right out on Bay Street. It’s not be of the positive things from Covid that I hope remains after pandemic. Nicely decorated and safe separation between tables.

My server was very helpful. She did an excellent job. However, the food was okay for the price. Nothing extraordinary. The patio is a nice idea for the summer but I think the seating close to the sidewalk should have a barrier because homeless people kept interfering with me and my friend and asking for money and touching our stuff (we were eventually able to get seats closer to the road instead (this was much better).

Grossest patio in Toronto. Overflowing garbage cans, too tightly packed together tables, claustrophobic. We didn’t even sit down, left, went indoors and had a lovely meal at Eataly in their near vacant restaurant!

Everything was wonderful on the patio, except you can't order a coffee from the server. You have to go inside and wait in line. Otherwise perfect.

The service was casual and friendly, and the food came out quickly but we were recommended to try multiple sharing plates and they all came out together, we had no room for all of the plates and the staff didn't really seem to think this was an issue. Food was ok, the pizza was very pedestrian and the fried seafood was overcooked.

My experience was below par at best.
The food is fine, I wouldn’t say it’s anything to write home about by a long shot. Prices are standard downtown Toronto range.
They brought my salad and entree out at the same time. The explanation I got was “we serve as it’s ready.” Apparently this was to be communicated to me when we were seated, but of the FOUR staff members that came to my table, none informed me of this. The reason why this happens apparently is there are two separate kitchens that prepare these dishes and they cannot communicate with each other. What a ridiculous thing for a restaurant to tell a patron! That’s a huge failing on their part.
So I had a cold salad and a hot pasta sitting in front of me and all I was offered was a side plate to cover up the pasta. Needless to say, I ate my entree first and salad second.
Apart from that, despite there being so many people coming to the table, they did so in the beginning and then ignored us.
It was a cold day and they took forever to start the heaters up and did so only after a few of us asked.
Things that they couldn’t control but make this a blah experience nonetheless: traffic, Yonge-Bloor noise levels and the fact that the patio is mostly in the shade so you’re going to be cold now that fall is here. Overall a 2/5 experience at the most. Just don’t bother.

This is my second time going to the Eataly Patio - it's a great location and the ambiance is amazing. I think they should do it again next summer post-COVID (fingers crossed we are out of this by then) just because it's so lovely to sit outside and eat pizza and sip on their amazing Aperol Spritz. If you haven't been, you should go!

The pizza and ravioli were delicious. The node from padding trucks on Bay St was awful. $19 for a glass of wine is too much.

By far one of my best experiences at a vegetarian restaurant. All the dishes were delightful and you don’t even realize there’s no meat in the dishes.

Highly recommend the bang bang broccoli and the mushrooms and tofu.

Outside on Bloor Street at lunchtime is noisy and windy. The towers keep you in the shade with little sun. The wait staff are excellent. The main (ravioli) was superb. The starter (Gardiniera) was a swimming pool of oil where you have to fish for veggies.

The pizza was super oily, not good at all, and the service lacked warmth. We were told they had no feta cheese, no tea and no coffee. And when we were ready to ask for our bill, our server was nowhere to be seen: not surprising, as she had gone on break! What kind of an Italian restaurant serves mediocre pizza and no coffee? What kind of dining establishment allows its waiting staff to go on break while patrons they are responsible for haven't yet left? You tell me.

My experience here was quick (partially due to their 1.5 hour seating limit) and enjoyable. The ambience was nice for a pop-up patio! The food was delicious and came pretty quickly. Overall, this place was good and definitely would recommend trying!

Great food and patio. Our only complaint was that our main dishes came almost right after the starters, which meant that we felt rushed eating the starters and there really wasn't room for everything to sit comfortably on the small table. We don't like to feel that the food is being rushed out to us as quickly as possible all at once.

But, that being said - we would return!

We are completely conciliatory to the times and we’re warned in advance that lunches would come to the table as ready. However after two salads were placed on the table 50 minutes later the third guest’s pizza had still not arrived.

Food and drinks were very bland, and service was not good. I’m assuming the server we started with finished their shift or went on break but we didn’t see her after she took our order. The burrata was thick and chewy, and had no taste nor was it creamy. We waited about half an hour for our next order but it never came. Thank goodness, because we didn’t have high hopes for the quality. After waiting to see our server, we decided to just flag another worker down to ask for our bill. After paying, the server became confrontational and denied that we even ordered another dish at all - an interesting opinion to have, seeing as he didn’t take our order and wouldn’t know anything about it. Definitely don’t understand the hype around this place. So disappointed in the service.

The quality of food is consistently excellent at Eataly. The service is normally quite good; however, the attitude and service we experienced by the host and waitress during this visit was extremely poor and does or reflect the standards of service Eataly strives for.

The host was very rude as I was asking questions about where we would be seated. She was short and her tone was not pleasant as if irritated while rolling her eyes. When I also asked which patio I would be seated at she snarked back “well if you give me a minute I can wipe this one”. I was not asking because I was waiting, I was asking so that I can make my way to the other patio should I be seated there like my last visit. The constant attitude was not necessary.

The initial waitress was not any better. She was not friendly nor professional at all. Her tone was rude, her answers were short and when we proceeded to order she made inappropriate comments. Two guests at the table ordered the same pizza and she insisted that we don’t order two as they are heavy and we should be sharing. Excuse me?! Her message was very clear that we shouldn’t be eating the whole pizza on our own. I don’t believe it’s appropriate to advise the guests when, how or what they should be eating particularly considering no one asked about size or denseness. When I said “I believe she wants her own pizza” the response was “ok whatever”. I further explained that any leftovers (which we had) would be taken home. This is a sample of the attitude we received that evening.

A friendly tone and some patience goes a long way.

I Loved the restaurant but we sat on Bloor St. and it was very noisy with traffic and sirens and also very dusty with the construction across the road.
