   The outdoor patio venue is beautiful -- made private by huge planter boxes with gigantic live greenery and flowers that impart a tropical feel. The menu is small, and with few good lunch salad choices, as none contain a protein. (If one were to add one of the protein spiedini ("skewers") to a the basic salad, the cost would be in the range of $35. All the food portions are quite small for the price. However, the food is well prepared and tasty, the service is friendly, and lunch on a beautiful warm day is still a very pleasant experience.

   All foods were very salty and the pizza was a grease sponge. Only one waiter taking orders out of over a dozen customers. Poor girl was overwhelmed and forgot to submit out initial order.

   Love this patio as it has great coverage from the sun and plants that make it a private space. Nice selection of menu items to share and fun cocktails. The service is very good and efficient. Nice to go for a date night or catch up with friends.

   I ordered one of their special cocktails to start the meal, which arrived when I was halfway through the pasta. The server should have warned me about the delay, and suggested I order something else. When we wanted coffee, the server said it was available at the patio on Bloor Street. But that patio was closed. The fusilli was excellent.

   The service was rushed and the food was cold when it arrived to the table. We barely finished our drinks and the server was removing out glasses and the plates were cleared before all diners finished eating.

   Great service from our efficient and skilled waitress. The pizza was delicious and pasta interesting. We were impressed that at they had half price wine bottle Wednesdays, though we did not order one. The beer (blonde) was refreshing, right temperature. We sat away from the music, but noticed quite a bit of street noise, ambulances, etc… They have done a great job setting up a hiatus on the street as it was super windy but did not deter enjoying the meal outdoors on the patio. Wonderful experience and we appreciated the suggestions from our server!

    First time dining here. Beautiful patio. Excellent service. Wait staff are quick, attentive, but not fawning. Sat near bar and music on portable speaker way too loud! Not much they can do about the city noise and sirens. Generous portion. May need to cook ravioli more as a bit chewy. Also, very salty! On the pricey side. Would definitely go back and try a different menu items.

    Really enjoyed our lunch here. Our server Tony was so fun, friendly and hilarious. The ambiance is tropical being surrounded by the luscious greens. You could almost forget you’re in TO without the sound of the bustle of Bloor. It’s a small menu but the Diavolo pizza was really tasty. Great little patio spot.

    I have been to Eataly many times indoors and on the patio. Last year I had a favorite mushroom pizza they dont have in either restaurant, only in the shop. There is not much left to chose from. I am a pesto-vegetarian and there are only 2 dishes to chose from and not much imagination put into them. I took my friend for her birthday lunch. She doesn't drink, so I at least wanted to order a nice espresso and a lovely cake, BUT, they don't serve either. The only reason I come to Eataly, is the location, because I live on Bay Street for the last 38 years and there is not much left to go to. I don't think that myself, my husband or my friends will return any times soon. The prices are ridiculous, of course, but I understand...it's the location.....

    The place is great on the sidewalk very pretty real plants and flowers, The food is very meh! More snacky then anything!! I was not impressed for the amount of money there charging its not worth it I ordered a campari and soda, the soda was flat no bubbles! the speducci shrimp was small shrimp overcooked , burratta comes just a hunk a cheese with some pistachio on top but no lettuce or bread,ordered pasta swimming in sauce sent it back, will not go back there !!! I do not recommend !!!

    Fabulous experience start to finish. We were greeted with a smile (Mandula) and looked after by a wonderful server (Abbie). She was very professional and made some great recommendations. The food was terrific (prosciutto/melon, risotto balls, Gambas, linguine with gambas). Chef did a great job balancing tastes and presenting food. We went into the shop after and then had a quiet glass of wine in the Trattoria before going home (BTW our server Kelsey was amazing). A fun and filling afternoon, not just our bellies but our soul.

    Great atmosphere, great food however service could of been better. Our server didn’t tell us there were specials but our table was so close to the next that we heard the specials from the waiter that was serving their table.

    This is a charming place to have a streetside drink. Tall tropical plants protect patrons from the noise and unsightly busy intersection, jaunty umbrellas, beautiful planters, and stylish seating create a smart ambiance. Waiters are friendly. However, all this goodness was undone by the food: lacklustre green salad and pasta dishes, with good flavour, ruined by off-putting amounts of oil. My husband's dish contained one rock hard uncooked ravioli. In summary, a disappointing lunch. I would come here again to enjoy an al fresco cocktail, but I won't bother with the food.

    We had a wonderful experience really enjoyed our lunch on the patio. However, we ordered a cappuccino and a pastry and were told you do not serve coffee and pastry on the patio. We had to go inside to order it. Our opinion plus two other tables agreed . Something to look at hopefully in the future. Thank you

    I made a reservation for 7:15pm. We were told that our table would be ready soon at 7:20pm and decided to head up to the grocery store to buy something. We came back down at 7:30pm and the table still wasn’t ready. The host said he would get the people who presumably overstayed their reservation to leave. He said they’ve been billed out but couldn’t get them to leave. By the time we are seated it’s 7:45pm. We were promised bread but nope, the server completely forgot to bring us that bread even though we were starving due to the delay in getting seated. All the servers were busy standing around the bar as opposed to looking to see if anyone was trying to catch their attention. The bread and olive oil only arrived at 8:15pm, after I finally caught the server’s attention. Needless to say we were starving. The food was subpar (the only thing I would recommend is the fried risotto balls; the pizza was meh and portions were small) and the service absolutely awful. We will not return.

    I booked a table for 8:30 and upon arrival, was told they close at 9 and that while they could not kick us out “it would be nice if we could leave my then”. Not sure why they allow their last seating to be at 8:30pm if they expect people to order, eat, and pay within 30 minutes and still enjoy the experience while being rushed out? Bizarre.

    Pretty horrible service experience. The patio wasn't completely full, but our server forgot multiple things and we had to ask several times to get water (he seemed only eager to get us our cocktails on a 35 degree day). He didn't check in on the food at all once it was dropped off, and then it took him 15+ mins to bring the bill (not split, like we had asked). We had to get up and ask the other server for the bill because we got tired of seeing our server do everything else but bring us our bill. I've had excellent service inside at the restaurants so not sure what happened here but won't be visiting the patio again due to the lack of competent service.

    VERY Poor service. The food was basic, petite portioned and flavourless. The gnocchi was lacklustre. The tomatoe sauce was bland and the ONE basil leaf was a nice try to add some flavour to a poor attempt at a meal. Def only worth about $4 of the $19 they charged. Won’t be going back

    Food was only "fine", portions quite small, very uncoordinated delivery of courses. I would recommend only ordering one course at a time as we felt very rushed and table full of three courses at one point. Will not hurry back as lots of better options in the area.

    Had a great time at il Patio! The umbrellas are perfect for any weather and the service was quick and efficient. Our drinks came right away (Aperol and Campari spritz ofc) and we didn’t have to wait long for our food as well, came out hot and fresh! Would recommend :)
