   Food is good. Ambiance in the back governor’s room was definitely lacking. They started cleaning the carpet before we were even done eating. Waiter had a big mess up. Alcohol in a drink that wasn’t supposed to have it. Three stars all the way.

   First time there and we were not quite up to dress code, they did not turn us away. Food was fantastic. The service however was outstanding!! Our sommelier recommended the perfect wine for our table, so good, we ordered 2. The steaks were all cooked to perfection. The side dishes were very good and 2 of them fed 4 of us. We shared salads and they split them for us in the kitchen. Desert and coffee, fresh brewed for us at 10:30 pm, just before they closed, and it was also delicious. We will be back.

   Food was superb! The most delicious lobster macaroni and cheese I’ve ever had and it’s a dish that I get at every steakhouse I visit. Our server was knowledgeable and extremely pleasant! Bartenders know how to make a really good cocktail and we’re also very nice! Cannot wait to return.

    Great time. Obviously noisy at 8pm. Waitress was great although when reading the spec, we dont need the whole menu recited back. Pick 3 plus specials and roll with it. Bleu cheese crust on $100 steak could have been more. That's it. Great time! You should go!

    My wife and I went on a date to Downtown and we were trying to find somewhere to eat but because it was around dinner time and on a Friday we had a hard time, then we decided to go to this restaurant as there was availability. From the start one can tell that it is upscale restaurant from the scenery, the environment and the service. Once we looked at the menu we saw noticed that everything was very expensive, entrees from 25-100 dollars, the majority of the entrees were between 50-75 price range. We still order an appetizer, two entrees and a side order, all sides are between 15-30 but they are shareable, we also ordered drinks. We were expecting a great meal because of the prices but the food was so simple, even if the meals had being half the price it would still had been overpriced. I was very disappointed with the experience as I was expecting more for my money, but now I know better. No one should take my word, they should experience it themselves and have their own opinion, this is just mine. My only complaint is that the food is highly overpriced, besides that service was great. I have no complaints on service nor the place itself.

    The specials were overpriced for what they delivered and there current menu. Cocktails were terrible and overpriced for what they were. Stay away from the brussel sprouts, you will be extremely disappointed! It's ashame was my wifes birthday and we couldn't have been more dissapointed. We won't be back!

    The food was stellar. The service was very good. The only challenge was the service seemed like they were ready to get us in and out / "turn & burn". There were 7 in our party and 5 of us drove in for the day to celebrate Mother's day. All the "non locals" drove home following the meal with the shortest drive being 2-1/2 hours. We didn't want to hurry thru our gathering. Generally when dining at a III Forks, Perry's, Jeffrey's, etc. the customer is there for the dining experience & the company & generally desires to, somewhat, take their time and enjoy. They say "perception is reality", & we felt rushed. Other than feeling rushed, the service was otherwise professional and spot on and overall very good in every other way. I would recommend III Forks in Austin to anyone.

    We had a party of 13 and were pleasantly surprised to have been seated in one of their private rooms. They were busy given it was Mother’s Day and yet we were seated immediately. Our server Amanda was amazing. She provided insight on the menu, special offerings and helped us determine the quantity of sides for our party. The service was great, the whole team was attentive, all of our orders were made as expected.

    This place is trapped in time. If you are ready to take a Time Machine set to 1990 steakhouse this is your place. Trouble is the menu has 2023 pricing. Sent back the steak we had, had some good sides. It was disappointing, especially on Mothers Day

    Everything was absolutely perfect right from entering the restaurant to leaving the restaurant. The hostess was very welcoming, sat us right away, the waiter came within minutes, very cordial and pleasant, and advised us of the specials for the evening. Our food was fantastic. We had the filet mignon with some béarnaise sauce, mashed potatoes and creamed corn. Excellent! Very tender and tasty. Prior to the filet I had a Caesar salad that also was very good. The salad was very fresh and crisp and the dressing was spot on. The bread was very good as well. The ambience was great. All in all it was the perfect experience. I would highly recommend this place.

    Always feel like VIPs here! The bartenders and servers are top notch. We live in the neighborhood and come by for dinner every few months and every time we show up we are treated like regulars. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Food is fantastic too!

    Me and my girlfriend ate here before prom, and were not disappointed. We got the wagyu beef NY strip, and it was fantastic. No matter what steak you get, kings butter is a necessity. Our waiter, Tarik, was very personable and his service was excellent. From food to environment to service, III Forks was fantastic, and I will definitely be back!

    This was a disappointing dinner out for us. We were excited for the experience but the food just terrible and certainly did not live up to the reputation of III Forks that were were expecting. We was shared a classic ribeye which was served rare when we asked for medium. It had an odd taste. We each took about three bites and could stomach no more. We had two appetizers. The crabcake was actually pretty good but the calamari was planned and served as big strips. We had onion rings and lobster mac-n-cheese with our steak. The onion rings were tasty and crispy. The lobster mac-n-cheese had a funny fishy taste and the lobster was rubbery as if it had been prepared and then frozen. We will not go back again. Our $350.00 meal was an awful waste of good money.

    What a great dining experience! We were visiting Austin and found this gem on our last night in town. You have your choice of steakhouses in Austin, and III Forks should definitely be on your list. The service was outstanding.Each course was served at the appropriate temperature, and the timing was awesome. I loved the monogrammed vests, it's definitely a classy touch!

    Our dining experience at III Forks was incredible. The food and drinks were top notch, the ambiance is beautiful, and the service was excellent. Our server was Javier. He was perfectly attentive- there when we needed him and politely not there when we didn’t. That’s what makes a fantastic server. Timing of courses was perfect. We were never rushed nor waiting long for anything. This is the kind of restaurant that has you looking forward to your next visit, even when it requires out of state travel! We then finished dinner with dessert and Nespresso martinis in the bar! Andrew was also just the best! We will definitely be back and telling all our friends about the awesome experience!
