The place is beautiful but super loud, we had to scream each other all dinner because it was imposible to hear.
They quality of the food was good (The Josper makes a huge difference) but the portions are ridiculously small for the price.
We had the seafood platter and some vegetables and we got 1 scallop and 1 shrimp per person, like really??

I like fine dining and don’t have a problem with paying for excellent food. I thought this was extremely expensive for average food, very small portions. Although I will say my martini was excellent.
Although not an over-extensive menu, there is no real need.
Would be a good location for groups as conducive to "family-style" eating.

Always a pleasure ! And I just love the food. If you go there, make sure you have time in front of you. Not because the service is slow, but because I strongly recommend that you order few plates at a time. The waiters often recommend to much plates/portions compare to what you really need.

This is my third time coming here and it was the best. The highlight was the customer service and flexibility. I inquired about an appetizer that wasn't on the menu anymore and the waiter managed to have the kitchen make one. And in general the service was very friendly yet professional. Food was really good. Note that it's worth to pay the extras for some of the Mezze (scalops and Lobster). Good wine selection, obviously some greec wine that should be the focus of your selection. We opted for one of the Assertykos and it wasn't available. However the waiter provided us with a delicious alternative (assertyko as well), that happens to be available at the SAQ.
Not cheap. But overall the type of nice evening that's worth the time and money.

We were a group of five that came to enjoy a nice brunch. Food was AMAZING! Our waitress was very warm and welcoming, suggested some really tasty dishes. I highly recommend anyone to try this restaurant.
We went for sunday brunch. I think I can honestly say that this is a top spot for brunch. Everything is so fresh, inventive, tasty... a great value for people looking for a great experience. Will definitely go back.

The food was good, but not to die for. The service was too fast for 4 course servings...
( maybe their way of making you spend more). A little bit disappointed as I have been to different fancy restaurants at the oldport, and this one DIDNT GIVE ME THE “ iam definitely coming back here” MOMENT.

Our party of 4 had an excellent experiance. Our couple had been to Ikanos on a previouse ocasion and had ordered the mezzes, tapas style dishes. On this visit we all had the set menu. We were not disappointed I would say there was too much food, perfectly prepared exceptionally delivered. Thanks to all the team at Ikanos for memerable Saturday night.
Très belle expérience, on s'occupe vraiment de chacun des clients, le menu est très varié et intéressant. Les cocktails sont delicieux et beaux visuellement. Les plats sont très relevés et recherchés, c'est un menu à partager ce qui en fait un restaurant parfait pour un rendez-vous gallant ou une occasion spéciale avec des personnes chères. Les huîtres sont délicieuses et servie avec un condiment que je n'avais jamais vu avant: de l'échalote française dans un vinaigre de vin blanc (et c'est excellent). Les serveurs sont très accommodants, gentils et souriants. Par exemple, j'ai attendu mon rendez-vous là-bas et on m'a servi du pain et on m'a demandé si je voulais quelque chose à boire et les fameuses huîtres. J'y retournerais volontiers dès demain!
We went there for my mother's 70th birthday. Exceptional food (felt like in Greece), great, friendly staff. The only downside: it is a little bit pricey.
Three of us had dinner here, opting for the three course fixed price offering with wine pairings. Highlights included the house-made babaganouch and lamb tartare appetizers, the succulent guinea fowl atop a bed of veal-stuffed dolmathes, a perfectly grilled sea-bream with cannoli-filled ravioli, and decadent desserts. The wine pairings were excellent and good value fir the money.

Nous y retournons sans hésitation.
Grilled Seafood Platter, Lamb, Duck, Oysters, Salads and Breads were all delightfully delicious in an upscale, historical section of Montreal. Service is professional yet friendly. We highly recommend Ikanos.

Pricey, but excellent. The food was great and the service superb. Off the beaten path so not overcrowded or loud.
Food was very good and well presented but way too expensive! $25.00 for two scallops! Service very slow. Waited 30 minutes between plates and we only ordered appetizers. The place was half empty but only one waitress (who was very nice and really tried her best). It's as shame, this place would have great potential because of the good food and location. But need to improve service and review those prices.

La formule mezzes à partager est fort sympathique. Tous nos choix étaient exquis. Pétoncles, homard, pieuvre grillée, et agneau. Je tiens à souligner le service attentionné et courtois. Notre serveur nous a recommandé un excellent vin grec qui était parfait . Excellent rapport qualité prix . Très belle soirée. Merci à toute l'équipe!

Rated the ambiance 3/5 because we chose to eat outside so it's very generic and must not be taken negatively. The only thing that bothered me was at the moment of the paiement: even though i had a tuango promotion witch included the tip, i was reminded at the table that the tip for the extras weren't included. Little did he know that i already put a generous amount in the booklet. It rubbed me the wrong way that Jonathan assumed that i didn't give any.
Lamb was excellent! Mezes were very good. Nice presentation of the food. Wine was a little pricey. Overall a good experience. Good service, friendly staff.
The appetizers were very good but unfortunately the seafood platter was really bad, the octopus was chewy , the fried calamari tasted like burned oil the only good thing were the shrimp and we only had 1 each ( 2 in total)

Outstanding dining experience! The restaurant has an intimate feel to it, and lovely decor. Our waiter was great, making recommendations for wine pairings and portion sizes. The menu has both mezes (tapas like, enough for 2+ on each plate), and full dinners. The pita with the three dips appetizer was superb, as were the dips themselves. I would highly recommend the grilled seafood platter to share. The grilled octopus was the best I have ever had (including in Greece), and the tomatoes in the Greek salad were amazing. We went twice during our stay in Montreal, the food was so good!
