Il Bazzali is Cuisine & Opera’s Montreal restaurant. Using seasonal market ingredients, Chef Davide Bazzali and his team combine regional Italian cuisine with a pinch of international flavors. ‘CuisineOpera’ prides itself on eco-friendly practices. The interior of ‘Il Bazzali’ was constructed by the Chef himself, reusing and refurbishing found wood and furniture. Guests dine in a fanciful and cozy environment ideal for intimate dinners or cocktail parties. Diners can choose from a selection of fresh homemade pasta, pizza, meat dishes, and delectable desserts.     Tout était délicieux et le service courtois. J’ai toutefois été déçue car j’ai amené des amis de la Beauce friands d’opéra pour découvrir ce restaurant que je connaissais déjà et malheureusement David n’a chanté qu’une seule chanson pendant 3 minutes seulement dans toute la soirée. Je m’attendais à plus et cela m’a déçu. Merci.

    Nourriture très bonne et service excellent! Nous étions 8 personnes et tous ont beaucoup apprécié le souper. Ambiance très chaleureuse. Bon rapport qualité prix. Il y avait d’excellents choix Vegan au menu donc pour la personne intolérante au lactose, c’était superbe. On y retournera c’est certain!

    Drinks, service and food were great. Just disappointing that chef who sings opera was not there that night and that was why we reserved. Maybe call ahead to make sure that he will be there if you’re going for the ambiance and entertainment.

    Amazing and delicious food, as well as a couple of brief arias sung by the chef, who is an operatic tenor, made our dinner one of the best ever! The restaurant is small and quirky in the best way. Two of the four of us are vegans, and there were several excellent and most tasty vegan selections. Everything we ordered was fantastic, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts. I hope to be able to get in for one of the future musical dinners - they sell out quickly!

    Nous avons apprécié notre repas et l'endroit est vraiment cosy, le service est vraiment super et nous pensons qu'ils devront faire des efforts côté des desserts. sinon nous avons passé une excellente soirée surtout que le chef est un tenor aussi donc c agréable de le voir chanter.

    A phenomenal experience! We took advantage of the MTLàTable menu and… food was simply amazing. The place is beautifully decorated and service was exceptional. What is not to love about the place? We will be back!

    The best Italian restaurant in Montreal in my opinion. Very authentic food, you can tell the quality of the ingredients is top-notch, excellent wine selection (ask their knowledgeable sommelier!), waitresses and chefs are very friendly, great for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends. You will not be disappointed!

    On a beaucoup aimé notre expérience sur tous les plans. Le décor fait avec du matériel recyclé est sympathique. Le chef fait le tour des tables, lance parfois un petit air d'opéra et sert une cuisine italienne toscane.

    The food was delicious and creative! Had the roasted beet salad and the gnocchi with squash. To finish off, the tiramisu did not disappoint! Plus there was a little surprise appearance from the chef who shared his opera singing with the crowd. The ambience is intimate and pleasant. Will definitely be going back!

    My guests were amazed how Davide can cook , sing , and talk to his guests. I personally love this guy and wish him all the best. Wish I could go more enough.

    I attended the Pasta Opera what an amazing evening!!!! The food and service was excellent the singing by the chef Davide was out of this world! He has so much love and passion for cooking and singing. His hospitality is something you experience in a small village in Italy, so warm!!!! He talks to everyone and makes them feel so welcomed. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely book again

    What a little gem we discovered. We went for a special opera dinner they had not only was the food delicious but the atmosphere was amazing. What a great concept. The staff was so friendly and Davide the chef and owner was great. We will be back for sure and truly recommend the place.

    C’était une très belle soirée pour nous. On était bien reçu au restaurant à l’heure de notre réservation et tout s’est très bien passé. Nous avons très bien mangé et la serveuse était excellente. On a essayé un vin qui nous a pas plu et elle l’a remplacé avec un autre sans hésiter. Les portions étaient très généreuses et délicieuses. On y retournera sans doute.

    Ravioli à la viande bon, mais sans plus. Petite portion pour le prix. Même chose pour le gâteau à l'orange, minuscule portion pour 9 $. Mon ami a pris des linguini carbonara qui étaient délicieux et la portion était généreuse. Le service était excellent. Les 2 jeunes filles qui nous servaient étaient très gentiles et attentionnées.

    Grosses portions, ce qui permet d’en rapporter à la maison pour poursuivre l’expérience à la maison le lendemain:) Personnel charmant, service attentionné. Chef sublime et voix magnifique. On a eu droit à un petit air d’opéra.

    Petit resto chaleureux. Comme pas beaucoup de clients peuvent entrer, l’ambiance est très paisible et le service de qualité! Les plats arrivent rapidement même si vous prenez la table d’hôte. Le chef et propriétaire prend aussi le temps de célébrer lui-même les anniversaires en faisant une petite prestation à l’italienne. Vraiment que du positif pour ce resto
