Good overall. Food ok. Salad was excellent. Meatballs were dry and just ok. Don’t get the orange wine. I should have known better. Tax on alcohol was 25%!! Just don’t. I’m not going back.

I recently dined at Il Forno and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. The restaurant offers a chic, minimalist interior that feels both modern and welcoming, with an elegant ambiance perfect for any occasion. On previous trips, we opted to sit in the outdoor space, which was also beautifully set up, offering a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience al fresco. The food was exceptional! The pizza was expertly crafted with a perfectly crisp crust and fresh, flavorful ingredients—truly some of the best around. Beyond the pizza, every dish we tried was delicious, from the appetizers to the dessert. Their creative cocktail menu is a must-try, with unique and well-balanced drinks that paired wonderfully with the meal. Their wine list is also filled with great choices. Service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall great experience. Whether you’re craving authentic Italian or looking for a place with both indoor and outdoor dining options, Il Forno is a gem. Highly recommend!

Fantastic place! Best pizza we’ve had since Naples. So good we keep passing on the other terrific-sounding entrees. Outside covered seating is a great place to spend an afternoon. Love it!

The best food! Easy to pretend you are in Italy while eating the outstanding octopus appetizers. The pasta, any of the pasta is so authentic Italian. Brings me back home to Italy💕

The whole experience was fantastic with a great price point on food. Portions are generous and it was the freshest pasta we have experienced outside of Italy.

Il Forno has always been a go-to for its solid mix of pizza and pasta. However, during my last visit, I noticed the prices have gone up, and the quality, while good, doesn’t quite match the cost. One aspect that stood out was the wine selection. For an Italian restaurant, I was surprised by the limited options available by the glass. While they do offer more choices by the bottle, the glass selection felt a bit lacking, especially considering the quality didn't quite match the price. Overall, Il Forno provides a pleasant dining experience, but my last visit left me feeling that the cost didn't quite align with what was offered. While the food is good, there are other places in Nashville where you can enjoy a truly outstanding meal for a similar price. If you go, I'd recommend sharing a pizza and pasta combo, as that seems to offer better value.
