The meatballs were cold and raw
The pasta with Mullet eggs should be taken off the menu
The fettuccini with tomatoes was replaced, without notice, and broken chunks of pappardelle were substituted - it could have been another diner's leftovers. The ricotta was thrown on top sloppily and there were no tomatoes.
The dishes were visually gross and unappetizing
The "leek" could have been onions or scallions, and were burnt.
We had indigestion.
The scallions were good and the wine was good.
The food was cool to cold on a warm night.
The wine was reasonably priced for mid town.
We gave this place a second chance after previously having a hair in our food 4 years ago.
There will be no third chance
Calm and delicious
Enjoyable dining experience with family that preceded a Broadway Show.
Dinner with long time friends. The restaurant did a wonderful job. The food was delicious and service was outstanding. A favorite dining venue and one we highly recommend.
Food was average. Expected more based on reviews. $450 meals for two should nite be average.
Excelent as it has always been
It was terrific.
Wonderful outdoor seating. Consistently good food and service.
Place was packed for a Monday night. Looks like they have a lot of regulars. I had the veal chop and it was lacking flavor. The Arugula salad was way too salty. We also had the whole Branzino which was very good. A little pricey and very loud. There’s got to be something good about it.
Hands down one of the best restaurant experiences you can have. If you like Italian, this is for you! Tremendous wine list, great ambiance and in the heart of midtown in a historical apartment home from 100 years ago. You won't find better service, food or wine in town. It is on the expensive side, but well worth it!
Excellent menu and specials and good Italian wine selections. First rate service. Friendly and competent! All good high quality and prices are high especially the wine and alcohol!
Great atmosphere! Thanks
great food, service and setting although we ate outdoors.
Wonderful, friendly service in cozy, elegant space.
Fabulous service, food, and ambiance!
Gracious staff and fantastic menu equals wonderful food and a memorable experience.
Food was great as usual. It was my 3rd time and it did I not disappoint! Staff was excellent and very accommodating!
We had excellent food and wine in a lovely outdoor setting. A perfect evening.
Outdoor seating is lovely! The tables are spaced to allow for conversation and service was v good. The food is authentic and delicious.
The food and service were EXCELLENT
Terrible experience, we went in for a 6:30 reservation at 6:15 & did not leave until after 8:30. Our server was a ghost, therefore, everything took forever. Tables who came in after us left way before us. Food was not cleared from the table in a timely manner, we never got checked on to see if we needed anything else when the food was delivered. I expected more from a higher class restaurant especially from a 250.00 bill. Will never be back.
Lobster ravioli superb, spaghetti pasta special very good and solid minestrone soup , this is my favorite spot
Excellent dinner, food very well prepared and delicious. Several dishes were surprisingly well executed and all were well presented and served. We will definitely be back for another special occasion. Some disappointment that no one recognized my daughter’s birthday although I had made a request in the notes to the reservation.
Pre theatre dinner - let server know but entree did not arrive until 15 minutes before we told him we wanted to leave
The pacing was off appetizer came before wine and there was a long delay before the entree
Great spot for lunch - attentive staff. Recommended. We will return.
The food and staff are great here. It’s good for both a date or group. Don’t go if you’re in a rush though as it takes a while for your food to be ready. In fairness, the place is busy. However, worth the wait. The cost is a bit much for Italian but again, i can’t complain about costs too much when the good is that good.
Very disappointing, both in atmosphere and food. Also extremely expensive.
What a beautiful outdoor setting, expensive but just the best food and such a pretty place
Best staff. Amazing food. Beautiful experience all around
The food was mediocre at best but quite expensive. I had to request another cocktail several times before they actually brought one. Overall NG. Wouldn’t recommend.
Food and service are above and beyond always! Definitely our very favorite restaurant to dine in whenever we are visiting the NYC! We have been coming here for years! ❤️
The kitchen seemed to be performing at a new level.
Lovely, authentic Italian restaurant with great service and an outstanding Italian wine list. While the inside in lovely and cozy, they have created a beautiful outdoor dining area,
if you want to eat authentic Italian, you are in the right place. the food is simple, no unnecessary ingredients, exactly like it should be. the branzino was extraordinary
With the demise of Felidia, looking for a replacement mid-town high end Italian go-to. Have been here several times and they have never disappointed. You won't be disappointed either. Try the veal meatballs and the limoncello cake...lol.
Great food, outstanding service, wonderful location
Amazing food, excellent wine recommendations. Will definitely be back next time I’m in New York.
Very very bad service, hostess
Way overpriced for the quality of the food.
