Our sake list is one of the most diverse on the East Coast and is curated by our in-house sake sommelier Noah Sain. Inspired by the underground listening bars of Tokyo, our little house is warmed by intimate lighting and analog sounds sent through a pair of Klipsch Cornwalls. Oil lanterns cascade amber light while sake is poured into eager glasses. We play full sides. Our sake is chilled. Our oysters are served in the classic French style. It’s not Tokyo, but it’s close.

A total gem to St Petersburg!! Ambience is amazing, music is always fab and the variety of plates are delish! Now if you are a sake lover this is for you! The cocktails are so unique! I have been going here for 2 years now and has never been a disappointment! Zach the owner is super engaged and his knowledge of music and sake are insane! I highly suggest to have a chat with him! Give it a try!!

Loved the atmosphere here, don't plan on being able to eat, eat. We each had a plate, crudo and hand roll were delicious. Sake infused cocktails (the colada was magical), cool vibes, relaxing, great sound system. Hopefully they expand the menu. We went to several places and had plates and drinks at each stop. This will definitely be a stop 🛑 each time we're out that way!

Overall, not the best experience. We were excited to try but there was no parking. It was pouring for our 6pm reservation and they didn’t open the door until 6:03pm while there were 7 of us waiting. We got shoved into a side table in the hall. Felt like 19 year olds were running the place. Luckily the food and drinks were great but for the price, we won’t be back.

The menu is limited but Every dish was amazing. We dined early on a Sunday night. The vibe was completely different than weekend evenings when it’s crowded and loud. Music was great and the drinks and food outstanding.

I had been wanting to try this place for a couple of months (we're new to Saint Petersburg), and I finally made a reservation for Friday night. It was everything we hoped for and more. The sakes we tried, the sake cocktail I had, and all the food we ordered was absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed our date night here so much. I didn't know they would turn out to be audiophiles, which we both are, so that was an extra delight. Interesting, unusual music played most of the night, and I saw on their menu that they have live jazz nights as well as bring your own vinyl jazz records nights. I will definitely be attending some of these social evenings. The house this restaurant/bar is in is cozy and dark, an intimate setting for this kind of experience. The Japanese aesthetic is everywhere, and added to the very modern feel of this craftsman style house, it was a breath of fresh air. Very different from anyplace else we've tried in Saint Petersburg or Tampa. If you like eclectic styles and tastes, this is the place. They really know their stuff. The Japanese snapper crude was beyond delicious, and the pork cutlet was divine. My husband ordered the dark chocolate dessert, and I was afraid it was going to be too heavy for my taste, but of course this, too, was infused with the delicate Japanese aesthetic and the kiwi and strawberry slices w a sprinkle of crunchy topping was superb, I was happy to discover! We will definitely be back here again and again.

We have been wanting to try this place out since it was under construction and we finally got our chance (we’re not local). We were able to get a reservation and chose to sit at the bar once we arrived. We knew that the restaurant was less of a dinner service and more of a sake listening bar with small bites and I cannot stress this point enough! If you are hungry for a full, coursed meal, you most likely will not be satisfied, especially if sharing plates with others. Nonetheless, the food was fantastic. The layers of flavor surprised us, honestly. We enjoyed accompanying each dish with their suggested pairing, too. The drinks were also lovely. There is no liquor here, just sake and perhaps some others, I don’t recall. It is very clear on their website that the space is small - there are only 20 or so seats indoors (no food service outside), so groups of 5 or more should definitely reconsider. Our only complaint was that the noise level was high when we visited. There’s a note in the back of the menu asking guests to keep their volume low, but our luck had us next to a group of two that were just enjoying one another at a very high volume. We believe that disrupted the true essence of how this place is meant to feel, but what can you do. We look forward to returning again!

Ambiance and food were fantastic. The menu is rather small and the portions were as well. Though delicious, I had to order second dishes and still needed a snack when I got home. And I’m not a huge volume eater.

My partner and I went on a Wednesday at 9:30 and it wasn’t busy so we had plenty of seating options for their little place. Inside is very homey and has a darker vibe, just less lit and using little table lights, helps to enjoy the listening experience more. Jason sat us and Nicole was our waitress and she was incredible. As our second time their we wanted to try different items and Nicole had great recommendations to which we tried the “ichishima ‘wildflowers’” sake, it was smooth and delicious especially for two people who aren’t huge sake fans. I got the “ube colada” cocktail and it was refreshing, creamy, sweet and sour all at once and quickly became a favorite cocktail of mine. My partner had the “dizzy spritz” and it was very refreshing. We ordered the “mushroom scallops” and it was some of the best mushrooms we’ve had, they were cooked well with a sear and yet still juicy. The salsa verte on top was acidic and herby and balanced the mushrooms well. We then finished the evening with the “dark chocolate crémeux” and it was a great ending. As someone who prefers dark chocolate over the sweeter chocolate’s it’s bitterness was balanced by the fresh fruits and the salt and almond crumbles added the extra umph in flavor that made you want to keep eating. Overall a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this little gem of a restaurant/listening bar for date night. I will only say that the prices may be on the higher end to some, however, you get what you pay for and here that’s amazing service, food, and beverages.

Excellent restaurant with a very cool vibe. Records play in the background and the food is delicious. On the more expensive side if getting food and drinks, but a fun gem would make for a great date location or just hanging out with a small group.

We had an excellent anniversary dinner. They made it so special. The sake and food were excellent. My only complaint was that they ran out of a few dishes we wanted to try, but we plan on going again a bit earlier so we can try everything on the menu! 10/10 would recommend.

Quite a treat... Friendly and professional service that makes you feel at home. The cocktails are innovative and tasty (Ube Colada is a revelation). The food is nuanced complexity that delights the tongue. Definitely recommend the mushroom scallops. If you haven't been here yet, make it a priority.
