The best recipes are always those of the family, and you will not be disappointed at India's Oven. Come and enjoy fresh ingredients and dishes cooked on site daily, not to mention the splendid mixture of house spices in each dish. Even if you're not the spicy type, you won't be able to resist the smells that delight the senses.
The decor is traditional and friendly and the aroma coming from the spices adds an exotic feeling to the place. The service is friendly, proud of its product and well intentioned.
India's Oven offers healthy food at affordable prices. To top it all, this "bring your own wine" restaurant invites you to come live the experience with your own bottle of wine, beer or favorite Porto!
The waitress was nice but the food was below par in my opinion but too each their own
Excellente nourriture et service rapide. Notre nouveau favori entre tous les restaurants indiens.
It's the second time i was going to this restaurant and made a booking for my birthday with my close friends. The staff and the manager are super friendly and kind. The place is clean, the food is delicious and we had a great service! Plus, it's a Bring your own wine!
The food is super good, and it's a typical indian food restaurant, the ambiance is not quite there, but you know what you're going for. The staff is really nice. Althought, they turned up the lights at 10PM, turned off the music, and kick us out of the place at 10:30 PM sharp, even though it was a birthday event with 20 people. We still had food on our plates and bottles of wine to finish but that didn't change anything. So if you're planning to go and take your time, go early.
Le proprio sikh parle français, ce qui est très rare à Montréal et la nourriture est absolument délicieuse.
Visiting from YVR, read reviews and thought we would try it.
Service was okay, reserved a little. Being in the business there was a lot of room for improvement, sadly it met all the typical stereotyping of an Indian restaurant, from tables to music and even paying the bill at the bar. Food was good, my wife enjoyed the chicken Sheesh Kebab, the saag Panir was also good, but the praised butter chicken was bland for my taste and experience.
Would I revisit the location? Probably not, would I recommend? I would leave it to your discretion.
My collegues and I always go for the butter chicken. That's the main reason we go eat there. And for the naan bread, of course! Of that, we can't get enough! It's perfect for a casual lunch between collegues and friends. Nice service.
