This place is always such a great spot. Great food, wonderful staff and what I consider still very affordable in a time where going out is super expensive. The food alone is worth coming for. Great on so many levels. The beer is fantastic too. Can’t say enough about this place!

I had the Indie burger and that was really good. Very messy but I didn't care about that. The person I was with had the mac and cheese and it was very bland and blah. Tasted more like mac and flour than anything else. I always love their beer and the wait staff are great.

All around a great neighbourhood joint. We sat at the bar and enjoyed flights of beer, which was fun. The food was really good and the quantity was generous. Service was friendly and efficient. We loved that it was quiet with only one tv screen behind the bar playing old movies.

The service was great. Our kids food was great but the salads were terrible and the chicken breast on top was equally terrible. I would go back but would definitely never another salad there.

Been many times but this time I have to say that the food and service weren’t great. Buffalo cauliflower was way undercooked and hardly had any sauce on it. Burger and fries weren’t hot but ate in anyways because took so long. It took forever to get a little ketchup for my fries. Had to ask two difference servers and eventually got some. Took about 20 minutes to get my friend’s glass of ice. Wasn’t Indie’s best night. It happens.

Love their veggie burger! Others at the table loved their burgers! Had to ask for hot fries as ours arrived luke warm and mostly burnt little ends. New fries were much better! Our food took an hour and 15 minutes to come out which is unusual. Our server was a little brusque and left our dirty dishes on the table long after we finished eating and drinking. We had to call him over for water, another drink, bill and each time he seemed annoyed with us so didn’t feel like getting another look if we asked him to clear our dishes. Been here many times but this is the only time I wasn’t thrilled with the service.

The service was incredibly slow and very rude for no reason. Perhaps the rudest server I’ve ever experienced in going to Indie Ale House since they opened their doors. Very disappointed.

Great spot for brunch. It was the first time bringing our 11 week old to a restaurant (it was for Father’s Day) and the restaurant was very accommodating giving a table that can handle a stroller. Would not hesitate to go back.

My friends and I spent the evening here after work on a Friday. All of the food was delicious; we ordered the cheddar rosemary popcorn, cajun wings, fried chicken plate, fried chicken sandwich, and the royale burger.

Indie Ale House is always reliable for comfort food done well. We took our son to dinner for his birthday—Indie Ale House is one of his favourite restaurants—and we had a fantastic server. Nothing to complain about—it’s just a great local restaurant.

Great food and service in the heart of the Junction … a funky, hip environment featuring cool tunes, tasty indie brews, MARVELLOUS chicken dishes and … don’t forget to look up to marvel at the amazing neo/retro/vintage pressed tin ceiling. A great find in the Junction. We were there for lunch just after New Years so it was perhaps more quiet than usual. Thoroughly enjoyed my tuna tacos and added a delicious green salad. My brother loved his burger and the fries were crisp, hot and yummy, beer options great, and desserts are a perfect 3-4 bite size! Excellent and friendly service by knowledgeable staff. Definitely recommend!!

I enjoy the ambience of Indie Alehouse but find the food to be not as good as it used to be. I had the Truffle Mushroom burger with a side of spicy fries, the burger was good but the fries chewy. My husband had the special house fish and chips which he said were so so. Waitress was friendly but didn't return to ask about coffee and dessert. I hope the food improves because I do like the atmosphere. Thanks.

Great service. Good food! We had the chicken dinner and the special of the day (fish-cod- & chips). We shared a table bottle of their Vine Song 5 beer which was really good and I don't like beer. Definitely a must try place! We'll be back.
