   Indie Ale House is always reliable for comfort food done well. We took our son to dinner for his birthday—Indie Ale House is one of his favourite restaurants—and we had a fantastic server. Nothing to complain about—it’s just a great local restaurant.

   Great food and service in the heart of the Junction … a funky, hip environment featuring cool tunes, tasty indie brews, MARVELLOUS chicken dishes and … don’t forget to look up to marvel at the amazing neo/retro/vintage pressed tin ceiling.    A great find in the Junction. We were there for lunch just after New Years so it was perhaps more quiet than usual. Thoroughly enjoyed my tuna tacos and added a delicious green salad. My brother loved his burger and the fries were crisp, hot and yummy, beer options great, and desserts are a perfect 3-4 bite size! Excellent and friendly service by knowledgeable staff. Definitely recommend!!

    I enjoy the ambience of Indie Alehouse but find the food to be not as good as it used to be. I had the Truffle Mushroom burger with a side of spicy fries, the burger was good but the fries chewy. My husband had the special house fish and chips which he said were so so. Waitress was friendly but didn't return to ask about coffee and dessert. I hope the food improves because I do like the atmosphere. Thanks.

    Great service. Good food! We had the chicken dinner and the special of the day (fish-cod- & chips). We shared a table bottle of their Vine Song 5 beer which was really good and I don't like beer. Definitely a must try place! We'll be back.

    Food was amazing. We had a pizza (detroit style) and a fried chicken burger. Both were perfect. Service was stellar. Beer was good. Will go again when we’re in the area.

    This review is post pandemic, of course, as things were a little easier before covidia. As the menu has changed, I noticed I didnt have many options for something not fried, like I used to. We ordered deep fried gnocchi, super spicy and a little over fried, nachos for a week, which were okay. The volume of food is much more, but the quality is not what it used to be. If you are a local beer/cider fan, this place has many options, otherwise I don't think I'd return for the food.
