Indigo Age Cafe Ratings and Reviews
very appetizing presentation, food delicious. staff friendly. simple decor.
I am not a vegan and did not know what to expect, so I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food tasted. Would recommend everyone try it even if you are not vegan.
Great service, amazing food. The high tea is a must try. If vegan food was always this delicious - I wouldn't eat any other way !
The place exceeded my expectations! Healthy food and delicious! I was impressed! I did high tea with 3 girlfriends and it was so nice! The decor inside and atmosphere is quaint and unique with a zen feel. I'd go back to this place again.
Very cozy atmosphere, tasty food and selection of teas. Great for Vegan and non-vegan’s alike.
I had a Groupon. I may have found it to be a bit pricey without the Groupon.
Really fun afternoon tea. Great presentation. Nice servers.
What are great surprise finding this little Gem. The food the service the place is all AWESOME. Don't hesitate go there !!
I bought a voucher vegan high tea for two on groupon. The experience was so so. Me and my husband made reservation on 12pm. We are the first customer but waited our food for more than 45mins. Food looks ok but not what I expected. Tea was awful. When you pour out the tea, you barely see tea color. I gave one star for them because I saw a server take out a piece of cucumber from fridge without wearing gloves or using any tools then directly assemble the high tea food. Actully none of the server/kitchen staff wear gloves for assembling the food. And all the food are raw based..... disguised....
I love this place! They have the best keylime pie ever and it's healthy! I love the food, the whimsical decor, the staff, the menu! What I don't like is that if you want to book an afternoon tea on the weekend it is usually a month or two wait. on the upside, it likely means they are doing well and will be around for a long time
it was new to us. the afternoon tea set was pretty good. food was pretty good, too. some of them are interesting. it was nice experience for us.
The afternoon tea was so lo lovely. I brought a friend for her birthday and she really enjoyed it. Thank you so much.
The best hight tea dessert I recommend.
It was quite different atmosphere compared to normal tea cafe. Feel more comfortable and Eco friendly style. But small space for a group customer. The staff explained variety kinds of finger foods and it taste realy healthy and unique. One of them had a edible dried flower petal on top for decoration. The combination with aroma and sweet taste was amazing. I would definitely love to visit again with my friends and family.
That is the first time I wrote a public comment on internet. I just hope people won't get this unpleasant experience like me. I purchased Groupon because the advertising picture on it was very attractive, indicating a very joyful environment and nice food. When I reached there, it is dim and feels not sanitary at all. The table is stick and service is unexpectedly bad. What they want is to ask more money from your pocket WITHOUT any single sense of service! Never come back again.
Bought a Groupon to take my Mom for high tea - she's never been able to go before because she's celiac! We both thought the food was great and the teas were nice as well. Cute little hole in the wall, but took a month to get a reso!
Very good. Need to have free parking option
Already far drive for customers from other side of bridge. Parking reimbursed would be a great touch
I went there for the afternoon tea with my friends. I like this kind of stuff and I visited many other places which serve afternoon tea before so I was curious how can vegan and gluten free one taste like. Not bad but nothing special. I would recommend it because it’s different from the others but it doesnt make any “wow” effect (at least for me)
Went for high tea, although it took a long time to be able to book a table (booked months ahead for weekend,) it was well worth it. The food was amazing! I have difficult food allergies, & the ladies were very accommodating! Lovely place!
Went for high tea and it was the best one I have ever had
Bought this at Groupon. Good value with great food and friendly service.
Went for high tea (with a groupon)
Very cute place
Food was bad; basic raw vegetables with "mushy" stuff on top
Doesn't justify the price
I wanted to celebrate my girlfriend's bday as she is gluten free and this was the 1st time there. When I called to notify the café that I was going to use a Groupon, the lady on the phone was very curt and said I had to book online. Then the service was terrible as the young Asian server was not very hospitable/friendly, didn't offer to tell us what each food item was. She seemed either distracted or disinterested. I'm in the service industry so I understand what good service is and sorry that this is not a place I would return or recommend.
The high tea food was amazing but they were out of every single tea I asked for or wanted to try. Seriously I think 50% of the teas were sold out. I ended up settling on a chocolate rooibos which I didn't think was that good. The ginger/ginsing one my husband got was subtle but good.
Incredibly unfriendly service. Very mediocre food. Unhygienic feel to the place.
Food is not tasty. Very small place, table is small too. Items are really small not worth for the cost. Plus, Groupon customers get less no. of items than posted on their website for high tea (they could not explain it when being asked). Not recommended for others.
The afternoon tea savory and sweet bites were very tasty and also a feast for the eyes. The decor was whimsical and felt cosy.
A must for all. Some of the best food I have ever had. The high tea was epic!
Fantastic setting, great staff and excellent food! It is a dream come true for a vegetarian or vegan family! You can eat everything they bring without having to ask what may be possibly in it!
I wish they had parking!
Wonderful vegan afternoon tea. Creative colourful food, that taste great and is also healthy.
we had to wait more then 20 minutes before our table was ready, reservation was for 16:00
the food was great, this place not set up for groupon deal in my view.
The vegan afternoon tea was amazing! You don't have to be a vegan which I am not to appreciate it. Thanks for the staff who provided such a fantastic services!
Delicious 😋 We went for afternoon tea it was delightful. Vegan and gluten free goodies
I come here fairly often with friends and colleagues, but I decided to take my mom for the high tea. Food quality was as usual very good, but I don't feel it was good value for money. For the same price, we could have had a tea and dessert off the same menu, instead it was a few tiny little cakes/sandwiches and my mom said her tea was watery. Don't waste your time on the high tea, just order off the regular menu as we left hungry. Not sure how they can give you such small portions for $17 each
High tea food items were delicious and fresh. Well-plated and presented. Unfortunately, the restaurant is small and dark and was extremely busy and full at 4:00 p.m. on a Tuesday afternoon. We could only see 1 server and she was quite harried and curt. We had made these reservations (through a groupon) 2 months prior and were hoping for a more relaxed experience but were a bit disappointed with the overall ambience. I did appreciate and enjoy the food and tea selection.
Lot of flies in the restaurant. Make sure you clean the tableware before you use it.
Reservation system only real issue encountered. Service, Meh - but presentation and quality of food (even though it is vegan) fantastic!
We were using a Groupon and were having difficulty making a reservation before Groupon expiry date. Called establishment and they advised no problem - as long as online booking is made before expiry date, date of actual reservation not an issue.
All seemed fine with online booking, but then on reservation date, the system auto-cancelled our booking. We again called establishment and this was fixed, but with such a small space and limited seating, this could easily have gone the other way.
Wasting time on admin type issues the only down side.
We went for High Tea on a Groupon (warning - it took several weeks to get a reservation). We had to order tea four times before they had one in stock. Nonetheless, the tea and food were very tasty. The service was friendly. The restaurant is cute. We left a little hungry and had to go out for tacos afterward. It was still fun and I would go to the restaurant again as I liked the vegetarian and gluten free options, just not for Hight Tea - way too expensive for what you get.
Although we had a reservation for 12:30 & had arrived 10 mins. early, we didn't get our food til after 1PM. It was for high tea which normally requires a reservation for the food prep so, I was surprised/disappointed with the delay.
My daughter normally likes earl grey/English Breakfast tea. They were out of the Ceylon tea & the server had recommended the Empress tea instead. That I realized was an adult tea which most 13yr olds would NOT like.
For my husband & I, it was something fun/new to try. For us, the food was good. The above comments would be something that the restaurant can improve upon. Would not recommend for children for the above reasons.
Everything was good except for communication. I bought a groupon but when I tried to use it a month before it expires and found that no dates were available before my groupon expires. I didn't know I have to book about two months in advance. I contacted groupon and got different responses. I contacted the Cafe's but the one picked up the phone said I should be able to use it but couldn't confirm and so told me to check online. I found an email contact but no one replied to my email. That was very frustrating. I booked it anyway but wasn't sure if I could use the promotional value until that day.
Indigo Age is such a treasure. We had High Tea and every bite was super delicious, not to mention incredibly healthy (vegan, gluten-free, raw). I highly recommend a visit!!
Beautifully presented high tea treats that are a joy not only to the eyes but to the pallet too. Loved the variety. Was a delicious vegan spoil!
