    Chef Dominic Teague’s childhood was spent outdoors and resulted in a deep respect for nature and the seasons. Over the years he found kindred spirits in selected food producers from across the country, with a particular soft spot for Cornwall. This passion for the Cornish peninsula inspired the summer tasting menu, bringing the taste of Britain’s southernmost point to London. On the menu are ingredients you may expect from the Cornish coast, as well as food from artisanal producers from across the region. To tempt are Monkfish baked in seaweed with St Austell mussels, peas and broad beans and Slow roasted lamb breast with tomato jam, fennel pollen and basil. For dessert, it’s Dominic’s fun take on a cream tea, jam first of course!

    Great place for those seeking a solid Gluten Free (GF) restaurant. Everything is GF including the Fish and Chips which had a unique twist on Tarter Sauce. Only complaint I had was that it took awhile for the server to greet the table. With that…still a great experience.

    We enjoyed the pre-theatre set menu, which is very good value. Service was impeccable and the food was beautifully presented and delicious. A relaxed and unhurried atmosphere in comfortable surroundings. Really enjoyed our evening.

    Our party had several allergies/intolerance, all where cater for well. The staff were excellent, professional and friendly. Would highly recommend, the dining area was modern but felt comfortable. Wine and drinks were very good, with a good selection

    Great food as always, good friendly service as always. Love eating here every time I come to London. My husband who is a Coeliac loves the fact that he never has to ask if the food can be adapted to gluten free, making dining a really great experience.

    As someone with celiac disease, I'm always looking for good gluten-free options, and Indigo is one of the best. I love that the entire restaurant is safe for me, but more than that, the food is amazing. This is fine dining, completely gluten free. I go here every time I'm in London, and it never disappoints.

    I visited Indigo to celebrate my friend’s 30th birthday. She is celiac so this seemed like the perfect restaurant to book as there is no gluten on site! Unfortunately we did not have the best experience. Service was slow from the get go, with no one asking us what we would like to drink after having been sat for 10 minutes. Once the food arrived, none of the staff seemed to be paying attention to our table or our empty wine glasses, meaning we had to pause our meal to ask for our wine to be topped up. When we did ask, this member of staff had to ask another to top it up for us! Seems only certain waiters are able to perform certain parts of service meaning there was a lot of staff doing not a lot and a couple who were running around catering to most of the tables. I will say the seaweed butter and the fish and chips were delicious. As a gluten eater, I could not tell the difference! The dessert however was not so delightful. Again, we had to ask to order dessert, to which the lady we asked had to go find another waiter who was allowed to take our order. We were presented with an extremely grainy “cheesecake” with a pistachio ice cream with little to no flavour. The dairy free alternatives did not live up to their gluten free offerings. Lastly, once we had paid the bill, we were asked if we were leaving and if we could not leave yet. After 10 minutes of waiting, a small birthday dessert with a candle was brought out. Whilst this was a nice gesture, it seems bizarre that this was not brought out sooner instead of us awkwardly waiting when we were ready to leave. The dessert again was not great, a rock hard brownie which was extremely difficult to cut even with a knife. Safe to say this was left at the table! All in all a really great concept but a disappointing evening for a special event.

    What an amazing experience. Great venue for Gluten and Dairy free food, if you have those dietary requirements or not. Amazing cocktails menu in the lobby. Or why not do what we did and enjoyed both atmospheres. Fabulous venue for pre or post theatre performances too. We will be back!

    It’s always really hard to eat out with my family due to multiple dietary restrictions and One Aldwych is a joy because nothing phases them in this respect and nothing is too much trouble. The food is great, the service is excellent and we had a lovely time for a family occasion. We will be returning!

    Everything about our evening at Indigo oozed class. From cocktails in the bar downstairs to wonderful food upstairs. Superlative service from all staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Whole hotel has been refurbished since we last visited and it has only improved the whole experience. Special thanks to restaurant manager Celia, who was very engaging and welcoming.

    If you miss the pleasure of regressive dishes because of your gluten allergy, Indigo is the solution you need. It brings a gastronomic twist to the classics of street food. It is also one one the few gastronomic restaurants where you can bring kids without flinching. Priceless.

    Magnificent place for a quiet cosy yet slightly pricey but worth it dinner. The only thing was I was there for an anniversary with my partner and there were loads of birthday little gifts which I was expecting yet never received and also please do change the brand of coffee is acidic and not as foamy (crema) as expected in a good coffee. Despite that little detail I would definitely recommend it in every aspect of it.

    The food was amazing although the menu could have been a bit more varied. The service could have been a bit more personable and the restaurant was a bit too cold for my liking. I had to put my husband’s jacket on and so did the lady at the table next to us. I was a little bit surprised that none of the staff said anything to me about the temperature. None of this ruined our evening as we enjoyed the food immensely.

    My partner is a coeliac so it was a thrill for him to not have to worry about allergens on the menu. The meal itself was excellent, despite being a little pricey but that is probably the cost of being able to guarantee such a clean, allergen-free kitchen and also to use such good quality ingredients. A great birthday dinner was had, thank you !
