A pleasant surprise to find this student training school for the culinary arts at Okanagan College's downtown campus. A fixed price menu for your choice of 2 or 3 course meals, very reasonably priced with a wide variety dishes determined by the professional chef and a couple of dishes the students create. We had a dinner prepared by the level 1 students, very tasty. The menu changes every 18 weeks when the next group of students come through, which seems to rotate between level 1 and 2.

Bring your own BC VQA wine, no corking fee, otherwise it is a $10 corking fee.

We always love going to Infusions! As it is a "training restaurant" I usually give lenience because we are going to a place where people are learning their trade. And the food is always lovely. I also figure that you are about the only restaurant who actually welcomes the feedback!
The meal on Friday did actually need a bit of a tweak. Was there for a birthday and all four of us and had the steak and short rib combo. Short rib = outstanding. Veg = bit toooo much char on the brussel sprouts but ya know, they were still tasty. The however bit was the steak. It was cooked to medium rare, so kudos to chef there, but under seasoned and perhaps it was the cut? Way too tough. Couldn't cut through even with the steak knife. You had to take the slices of steak you had and try to cut them down into thin, thin and thinner slices before you get what I think the chef was trying to go for with that dish. That bit was too bad, because everything else was as usual, FANTASTIC.

My hamburger was raw and needed to be sent back and my gluten free bun was very dry. Other than that the service was wonderful. It was a Friday so the students were learning but I thought I would pass this along to help them improve.

Enjoyed another great meal at Infusions. What a great find in Kelowna, the food is always innovative and delicious, with great presentation, and very reasonable prices. The restaurant is fairly small, so reservations are a good idea. Our server was wonderful, especially in view of the fact that she was on her own on a fully booked night. Bonus is that there is no corkage on BC VQA wines!

We loved the couple surprises with the add ones, The taste at the beginning of our meal and the palette freshness which was refreshing served after the Apps, We had the Cohoe Salmon baked on the Plank which was done moist and fresh tasted.....Our only dissatisfaction was the Quiana served with it we felt there could have been a other choice to accompany the Salmon.

We were very pleased with our evening at Infusions and will definitely dine there on a more regular basis. The food was wonderful and varied, they accommodated our food intolerances and the no corkage fee for bringing one's own BC VQA wines made the meal a very good value.

The students did an excellent job with our meals. We did have some constructive criticism which was well-received by the students and Chef/Instructor visited with us as well. Wine selection is quite good as well as choices are of reasonable cost. Tipping not allowed so bring $20 cash to donate to the student education fund!

We had the most wonderful experience. The service was fabulous. The servers were excellent and the FOOD WAS EXCELLENT. The meal was well planned and we felt so looked after and happy. It was Gary's 79th birthday and it could not have been better. WE LOVED IT. Everyone connected to serving us was just outstanding.

As part of Dine Around Kelowna, my husband and I dined at Infusions, the student-run restaurant at Okanagan College. The dining room was cozy and the ambiance relaxed. At times the hostess and servers were a bit slow because they were trying to manage a sudden influx of newly-arrived diners, but instructor and student staff were competent and cordial. The only other "down side" is that the officially-listed parking is a bit far away for walking on slick sidewalks on a dark, frigid night.

The "upside" is the food. I enjoyed salmon bruschetta as an appetizer. Since instructors want to help students learn to incorporate indigenous foods and techniques, the lox was served on bannock, a nice touch. My main course choice was beef short-rib with polenta and vegetables, a comforting, delicious choice for a cold night. As a salt-avoider, I would have dialed down the sodium a bit, but I realize that many Canadians are used to higher salt levels. The polenta was perfect! The hostess/supervisor knowledgeably helped me with wine selection since my first-choice wine was not available.

A delightful surprise was getting to sample a small-portion appetizer, sour cherry sorbet with mint, and an intense dark chocolate truffle, all of which I would love to see incorporated into future menu choices.

My husband and I would definitely recommend Infusions and plan to pay a return visit.

Service was great. My beet salad was plated beautifully, the combination of flavours was perfect. Husbands smoked salmon bruchette was also superb. The salmon had a nice texture and a lot of flavour. I had the salmon for my entree. The salmon was very good but just a wee bit over cooked. Husband had the short rib, it was tasty and tender. Both were served with seasonal vegetables that were great. There was only one small rib on the plate and too much polenta which we had never had and were not fond of. We will definitely be back. Well done! Also loved the fact that we could bring our own bottle of wine to enjoy and no corkage fee.

I LOVE Infusions. It is such a special place and the caliber of the food served makes me feel like I'm at the fancy Greystone culinary institute in Napa. Two things I wish: that you could go back to getting some of the students to come out and say hi, ask how meals were. I think that was uplifting for students and customers and adds to the overall experience. Second, while I like the cozy feel, how about getting some interior design students in there and do some magic making the place look like a winery - get creative with some wine barrel walls! :)

Great place for a family get together. Not as nice as I was expecting. Prices were okay but not inexpensive. The lady serving was exceptional, the dinners were just okay. But I am a meat person and a good cook. I was expecting a 4* meal. At best maybe a two. The steak I had was flavourful and cooked properly but I prefer to cut it myself. Having it precut for me may look fancy but it cools down way too fast.

This was second time to restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed the taste experience of menu items prepared by students. Suz is outstanding in her role of hostess, server and in relaying comments, responding to questions. Will go there again. Great value for outstanding taste experience.

My family was visiting from out of province and we chose Infusions as something different. Everyone loved it and we had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, portions were perfect, service and ambiance were great! The only suggestions I would have would be to place a curtain over the grow box as the bright light was distracting and to leave the sorbet at room temperature for a bit prior to serving -it was really hard and ended up shooting off the table when I tried to take a spoonful :$
