The food at this restaurant has its highs and lows—some dishes are excellent, while others fall short. A menu refresh would be a welcome change. Service can be a bit slow at times, which affects the overall experience, but the view of the lake is unmatched.

Poorly managed patio. Seems like they were understaffed. Staff misses out on key service benchmarks. Like water, remembering to punch in orders, coming back to check if the food is okay. They dropped the ball hard on Sunday Sept 15. Tons of potencial but poor service.

This was a second visit based on a great first experience. Loved the place, the food and the service . An excellent outdoor dining for the summer. Dinner and desert options were great!

Burgers were thin patties likely from frozen not homemade. Martinis tasted watered down. Not the best value for money. Irene can do better.

Had a great first time lunch at IRENE. Food was awesome, as was our Waitress. Reception was very welcoming. Vibe was great. Highly recommend !!

Food was excellent. Service was amazing. The team was warm and accommodating. Thank you. I brought my cousin from out of town and the staff went out of their way to take a picture of us and take extra time to set up a spot to look nice for the photo. So not necessary but extremely appreciated especially since it was closing time. This restaurant remains my favourite. Thank you for the extra care and attention for us to have a great experience. I wish I got names but it was the evening of Aug 30.

The food was not good and we were very disappointed. We had the beef tartare and it was way too many onions and overpowering with sauce. The pasta was mediocre; nothing special. The jerk chicken tacos were okay but again, nothing special. The smash burger was probably the best thing we ate. For dessert, we had tiramisu gelato but it tasted like soap and it was not gelato; we were sure it was ice cream. We had the espresso crème brûlée and it was the second best thing we had all night. Service was not that great. Will not go back.
