Excellent server/service! My youngest son said the smash burger was probably the best burger he has ever had. His girlfriend and my other son each devoured the smash burger as well. My wife enjoyed the eggs benedict. I had the Irene breakfast. The eggs, bacon and what I thought was some sort of sausage patty was over cooked and the toast was dry but all in all, not bad. Food portions were plentiful and food presentation was excellent.

The Host was everything Trevon (definitely got his name wrong, sorry boo) he sat us at a both that we requested and we had a good ol'time. He did check in on us from time to time as he sat other patrons which I thought was amazing and thoughtful, Definitely a vibe. Our server was good, I wish he paid attention to the flow of our evening, we had another staff try to take food that was on the table away I guess because our mains came. Our server had to be asked to fill water, meh it's whatever. Overall we had a great night

The restaurant is beautiful and the location is spectacular. We were here for Mother’s Day and then again once during the week and the service is very slow. On the second visit, we ended up leaving without ordering food because we were sitting for over 40 minutes with no server coming to our table. I am looking forward to visiting this restaurant all summer because the location and view is amazing so I’m hopeful the service improves!

I have been a regular customer of Against the Grain that has recently been renovated and reopened as Irene. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and still has the spectacular outdoor space with a view of the Lake. The service was outstanding and the food delicious - will visit many times as I work my way through the updated menu. Cheers!
