Dinner for 6 of us after our daughter graduated from Arcadia! Isabella was an amazing, friendly, yet professional waitress. She was attentive and her service was impressive. Iron Hill you gained a great young lady. The pretzel appetizer was tasty and for entree we had fish taco, left coast turkey burger, chicken pot pie, and 2 types of salads. This was our first visit and would come back. The Philly Favorite IPA was also great.

Our waitress was awesome. So helpful and attentive and great rapport with my grandkids. Food was very good. A big crowd of 16 people was placed near us and after that, it was quite noisy, especially after the family next to us allowed their two toddlers to run in circles through the dining room. Still a pleasant experience overall.

We had reservations for 6:00, we were seated within five minutes. Hostess was welcoming. Waitress was nice and friendly. The seafood bisque had plenty of seafood in it, was good. Then I had the fish tacos, they were okay one had a little bit of fish and the other had a lot more. Fish needed more flavor but overall was tasty. The cheeseburger platter and fish and chips were good my family said. The atmosphere was nice. We have been here before and enjoy coming back.

First time dining here. Arrived early for our reservation, but we were happy to be seated with no problem. Tanner, our server was great. Unfortunately, we waited a very long time for our only order of a shared appetizer platter. It was also like warm. I would give this particular location a pass.

The selection of food and beverages is consistently great at Iron Hill. What made this particular visit outstanding was the personable and efficient service given to us by the manager and our server on a busy Saturday night. The Chestnut Hill location has always been a favorite, and it is where my husband and I often take out of town guests. Keep up the good work!

We waited 25m at the table before anyone checked on us and that was after talking to 2 different people at the hostess stand. The server was very scarce throughout the meal. With the exception of the cheesesteak egg rolls and the Caesar salad, everyone was disappointed in their food. My daughter said even the rice was and mashed potatoes were gross. I figured we should try it since it always looks busy when we pass by but we won’t be back.

This was a special occasion. I left a lengthy email explaining that I was getting engaged and surprising my fiancé there with friends when making my reservation well in advance. As soon as we got there the staff got upset that the party got out of their seats and told me that we were being unruly. We were hugging and celebrating, as you would expect with such an occasion. One server in particular was incredibly rude and told us to leave. This was within 5 minutes of us arriving. We were sober, and the restaurant was almost empty. I purposely chose a non-peak hour to make a reservation to not cause issues, yet that was not the case. I understand being a server is a challenging job, filled with unpleasant experiences. That being said, you can’t treat customers like trash. We left after one drink and had an incredible rest of our evening.

I went to celebrate my birthday with my sister’s. The good points were the waitress was super accommodating and the restaurant was clean and the cake and ice cream they gave me was amazing. The food was a 1 out of 10, my steak was not cooked properly and my sisters said their pasta had NO flavor what so ever. No one enjoyed their drinks either so I most definitely will NOT be returning or recommending to anyone.

Food was delicious. Service meh. Keeping coming over to the table to take our food and we felt rushed. So took the plate of one guest while the rest of us were eating. Too the plate of the other guest and I was alone eating. Awkward. Hurried us with the bill. We said we would like to have dessert, the server said, I did ask that already. The booth in the corner was actually very uncomfortable for booth seating.

Great place for a Monday night dinner to catch up with an old friend. Our server Brigid was friendly and patient with our distracted attention to beer list and menu. Great frien pork belly sandwich and even though the keg kicked on beer my friend wanted - they came back with a sample of one she really enjoyed.

We have always enjoyed going to this restaurant over decades. Recently from the host at front desk who has no clue of any hospitality experience , is incompetent and always overwhelmed, to the server who at the restaurant not being as busy as it generally does get at times, was very slow and poor including getting our order wrong, and when the food did come it was cold. I hope the restaurant gets it under better help and returns to what we remember as a fun place to go.

Atmosphere is SO calming, the Bavarian pretzel appetizer was incredible and our main meals were outstanding in presentation and taste. As delicious as the food was, the kindness of the waiter staff was incredible and that would absolutely draw us back. No question was a problem, attentive natures were SO kind. Certainly added to the wonderful experience and environment. Suggestion - don’t change. I had driven from Lancaster to meet a friend and we have already planned to meet here again.

We were back in the old neighborhood and decided Iron Hill was worthy of a return (we moved out in Sept 2021). Good to see the service and food are still good (as is the beer). I would recommend a refresh of the menu as it does not appear to have changed in the year-and-a-half since we last visited.
