Iron Hill Brewery - Maple Shade
consistently good, terrific service, expectations met.
Shrimp and Sausage Etouffee was delicious. It was nice to receive free bottle of beer as a compliment for being a Club member
The pretzels were burnt. The tuna was unseasoned. One person ordered steak as medium well it came rare
Food excellent, service great.
Good food. Cold beer. Good service. Great company. Doesn't get better then this. 😃
We had the most excellent waiter
Thank you, Iron Hill. You are our oasis from the stresses of everyday life. Our waiter, Chris, was exceptional. He provided excellent service along with a pleasant demeanor and knowledge of the menu. He made our made our dinner fun. Iron Hill never disappoints which is why it’s our restaurant of choice.
Great service, great food, always enjoyable . This is my meeting place of choice for a client I have with offices close by .. never lets me down and service is exceptional
My husband and me along with our two kids went for dinner instead of cooking at home. Everything tasted great, and we had a great time.
Great Night! Food Was Delicious!
Great food great atmosphere and great waiter Jason. Highly recommend
It was expensive for what it was. My pulled pork had so much water in it that the bun underneath was completely saturated, not with sauce but just weakly flavored water. The only reason that could be is if it is stored in water then slopped onto the bun at serving time. It was gross. Couldn’t finish. Fries were salty. Won’t go again, won’t recommmend.
The food was great especially the Korean wings. All meals were finished so that was great since we tend to bring stuff home. The service was very good. Would definitely make another visit.
Not their best night. I ordered a chicken Cesar salad- 4 ingredients- chicken, lettuce, croutons, cheese. I got chicken and lettuce. The server wasn’t sure what should be on the salad when questioned so I asked for the manager. Eventually the manager appeared. I was told she’s in the kitchen dealing w some issues and they are swamped. I was told there was a new salad chef who was still learning. She tried to suggest it was gluten freeThe manager did comp the salad acknowledging it was their fault. I’ve recently noticed they have downsized the salads yet kept the price the same.
We had reservations for this very busy night. At the last minute another person joined us which created a bit of a short wait - not a problem as we made a change last minute. Paul the manager provided us with an appetizer as we waited and kept us updated as to progress with the table we were to sit at. John our server was incredibly attentive and kept our drinks, etc flowing as well as the food. My husband and I have had John as a server before and have always been pleased with his service. Very glad we had him again last Saturday. He recognized that we had a tired soceer player with us who needed extra attention and he provided it.
Well my husband’s meal was delayed by at least 5 minutes after everyone else’s even though he ordered the very same dish I did. No offer to reduce the bill or free drink or anything. Still the meals (4) were yummy and we are Loyalty members so likely to return.
We always have a great time at the Iron Hill Brewery, but this time, early on a Friday evening, while everything was great, the restaurant was crowded and very noisy, took away from the dining experience.
We enjoyed Oktoberfest specialties which were a nice change of pace and very very good.
Only change we will make moving forward would be to avoid the after work crowd at 6:30 PM on a Friday. We will be going back in the future.
Always have a great experience there. Good variety of food and great beer.
We are regulars here. Always good food and good service. It was a bit louder than usual this time but it was also Friday night so that probably had something to do with it. Still, it was easy to talk without needing to strain. We shared the soft pretzel sticks which are among our favorites. I had the crab cakes which were delicious. My wife had the ribs, which is probably my #1 dish here. Service was great.
Bartender was amazing! Always on top of everything. Drink was never empty!
Iron Hill-Maple Shade has become one of our go-to dining choices. We find ourselves there on average once a week. Why? The food is always fantastic. You can tell they care about the quality of the ingredients and their food preparation. We like the variety of menu choices. The menu prices may be slightly higher (but not by much) than other casual eateries, but you get great value for the quality you receive. Servers are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu and the extensive brewery offerings. The King of the Hill loyalty program is a nice bonus, too, especially if you're a frequent diner. All in all, Iron Hill is highly recommended!
I frequently dine at Iron Hill in Maple Shade and enjoy coming to the fundraiser nights for our local groups. Unfortunately, the overall experience is better on an average Saturday than these special days. I booked a reservation well in advance of the date, and having learned from past experiences, specified in the reservation that we'd like to sit in a booth. Upon arrival, there was only an single immediate table available in a very crowded and noisy room with several large parties. I was told a server called out reducing the seating options. I suppose everyone was there for the same reason (fundraiser), but I also wanted to enjoy dinner with my family. Next time we'll know to sit in the bar area, it was quieter.
Kitchen service was painfully slow- our meal took more 45 minutes to arrive. Also, the evening's staff was off- no drink refills, missing ingredients in orders, not the best experience Routine weekend evenings can have us in and out in just about an hour, with outstanding service and food from start to finish. From start to finish on this night, we were on site for over 1.5 hours. Management was great, they comped us for our wrong order. However, with all the commotion, I forgot to hand in my 20% off for the fundraiser. It was a lose-lose situation for us and our group. I will continue to come to Iron Hill, but I will consider skipping fundraisers in the future.
Amazing food, drinks and service. Will definitely be back!
We make a point to go to Iron Hill for Oktoberfest every year. This year was no exception and our meal was delicious as usual. Our Sunday reservation was great as the restaurant was less crowded than other days on the weekend.
We went to get a taste of Oktoberfest and Iron Hill did not disappoint. The meatloaf was delicious, as was the chicken schnitzel. The peaches and cream beer was even one I enjoyed. Definitely recommend.
Awesome deals for great good and drink right around 5-7 on first Thursday of month.
Food was excellent as was our server.
Our Server Lorri is the Best!
Service and Food is always consistent.!
Perfect for our family. Very accommodating for kids.
Great food, great beers, great atmosphere! Try the Pumpkin Ake. Can't wait to return.
Great beer, great service, great premises. Cheers!
One of our part has a severe allergy. Our server was excellent regarding verifying that she certain appetizers, but needed to stay clear of others. He also verified all the items on her plate
The food was delicious, service was quick and we had a great booth in the bar. It was an adult night out and we needed a date night without kids and we really enjoyed ourselves.
It was crowded when we got there but didn't wait more than 10 minutes for our table. Our waitress was lovely, very attentive, helpful and checked on us often. All 3 of us got a different type of burger and french fries. The burgers were moist and delicious and serves on a soft pretzel bun! There is a wide selection of beers for everyone's taste. We had a booth in the restaurant area which made it less noisy than the bar area in which we often sit. Great night all around!
Always great food at Iron Hill in Maple Shade. Service was great also. Brussel sprout appetizer is delicious!! Also brought a 4pack of hipster IPA home. My new favorite beer.
Large menu (with some healthy and vegetarian options) with lots of options and huge number of beers to try. Manager is excellent as makes sure everything runs smoothly. Staff is very friendly.
Great service and great food.
Brought friends and it was the first time since the remodel. It was my friends first time and they liked it. I’m still on the fence on whether I like the changed atmosphere. It went from being too dark to being too bright. The table was for 7 and it’s a good thing 2 didn’t show. Would have been a very tight fit.
IH has changed over the years. I love going to places that offer what other area restaurants don’t. Iron Hill is awesome in that they brew their own beer and offer food. My kids love the root beer. But the food choices have changed. I love the Garcia pizza with the artisanal dough. I own a pizzeria and can’t offer that type of dough. That’s what made Iron Hill so good and made me go there often. Other food choices have been eliminated as well and right now their food is the same as YardHouse, Firebirds, and all the other restaurants right around the corner. So I don’t go as much. Also, the portions have gotten smaller. Being a restaurant owner myself, I understand food costs rise. If you take the mushroom soup off the menu, I would probably never go back because no one does that as well as Iron Hill! I do like the King Of the Hill perks, but I don’t get as many since I don’t go as often. Hopefully you can bring back some of the old favorites. Thank you for letting me explain..it’s like you read my mind after I left. I wasn’t too impressed with the food. The actual restaurant though, it’s beautiful and the servers are very friendly!
We eat there regularly. Food is always good. Service is always good. Noise level is modest so easy to talk with friends. Best ribs. Delicious pretzel sticks. Everything I've ever had there has been good.
Just a night out with my family. Local place, clean and friendly. Food was fresh and warm. Service was quick and very friendly.
