I really enjoyed the restaurant and our appetizers were amazing. I ordered the Squash Wellington with Vegan gravy. When our meal had been plated and ready to come to the table they discovered their vegan gravy was no good. So I had to choose to eat it without gravy or order a new entree -- but my husband's was ready to eat now. So I took it without gravy, but I really thought it needed the gravy to be enjoyable. It was disappointing. Our desserts arrived and were good but our coffee arrived when the desserts were almost gone and it was stone cold. We sent it back and asked for our bill. This was our first visit and I so appreciate the vegan choices and the healthy menu options but this visit was rather disappointing overall. We will however come back and try again. I believe these thimgs happen sometimes and based on our appetizers alone I know this place has some delicious food.

On Nov. 8th my wife and I had reservation`s at your Fredericton restaurant, celebrating a special occasion as first time guests. We were much disappointed, being served luke warm vegetables, and my husband`s steak was tough.I probably will not be returning or recommending this venue to friends.

As usual, the service was good. The meal took longer than expected as they dropped the food for one of the meals.

Service is consistently excellent but even better this time, as our server actually replaced our coffee mugs, which had gone cold over the course of the meal, with new, hot mugs - his suggestion. Really considerate!
I also like this restaurant because it sources local food.

Although, this is my first visit and have not an opinion on what my guests ordered, my husband and I ordered the seafood chowder. Very disappointed in that there was very little potato, and I think the fish must have swam through, because there wasn't much in the bowl. Also, too watery. Like my chowder thicker. Overall taste was okay . Not too salty. Would consider another option if I am visiting again .

To be honest the food was not very good. There were 5 of us and 4/5 found issues with the food. I had the open face steak melt. The steak was very dry, bread was soggy, and the cheese was overdone. Another had the chicken club, it was OK, but there was a bone in the pulled chicken on the sandwich. Two others had the ribs and both said the ribs were very dry and overdone. I usually like the food at Isaac's Way, but this experience turned us off for a long while. But on a positive note the server was excellent, very pleasant.

I’m a fairly frequent visitor to Fredericton but I haven’t tried all the good restaurants. Of the ones I’ve checked out I think this is my favourite. They use good locally sourced ingredients to prepare interesting variations on “comfort food”. The atmosphere is pleasant and fairly casual, the service professional. A nice spot.

I found the restaurant overly noisy the night we were there. There was a children's show at the playhouse the same night so there were a lot of young children there. The noise level was high. I have been at the restaurant numerous times before and everything was fine, but this time a little noisy. Food was great.

Food is an expensive hit or a miss. Red pepper pasta would have been ok if they used more than a spoonful of sauce. Felt like I was eating simply boiled pasta 90% of the meal. Seating on patio felt like I was in a conversation with every table around me making it hard to have a conversation across my table. Service and local beer options were good.

We had relatives in from Ontario and they wanted to go out for a meal and a few drinks before we went out to the harvest . The patio offer was perfect The waitress was exceptional. I wish I had got her name as she was great. Food was great as it always has been in the past. Thank you for such great service

I've been to Isaac's Way a few ties since moving to Fredericton this year. Have now dined at all three times - lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Impeccable service is the first thing that stands out. Appreciate all the tips from your knowledgeable staff. It's great you source local food and drink options and support community endeavours from what I understand. Great to see local art on the walls as well.

Service was friendly and prompt, server knew his stuff but the food was average at best. The other's dishes were fine, just mediocre which is unfortunate for a spot with so many gleaming, positive reviews but my steak was downright bad. Tasted of burned oil... it was edible for sure and I'm not the type to send back a dish ever so I ate it. Waste not right ? If I had got this steak from a cheap diner for 12$ I could say it happens, and shrug it off.. but not for a 30$ dish. Sorry guys...beer was good though !

We’ve travelled through Fredericton a number of times over the last 3 yrs. we’ve always walked past this place but never stopped in... big mistake! This was a very cute and friendly place. All the staff were nice and helpful. The ambiance wasn’t too stuffy, we had two young kids with us but I’d have a business dinner there if I had the opportunity. Food was fantastic, good portions, great tasting. Highly recommend making a stop here, we won’t make the same mistake again this will be a destination for us going forward.

We have been patrons of Isaacs Way for many years. They offer a creative menu with a focus on local food sources. Their staff is wonderfully friendly and efficient. The paintings hanging on the walls, which can be purchased through silent auction, represent works of local artists. The proceeds support local school music programs.
