Italian by Night is an urban Italian restaurant and bar with a cuisine focused on old world techniques in a modern kitchen.

A romantic Italian restaurant in Uptown Saint John with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is a mix of rustic exposed brick and wood beams, as well as elegant touches like linen tablecloths, fresh flowers and candles on the tables.

    This was our 3 visit to IBN and it never disappoints. Our server was incredible, food second to none and as always, the atmosphere rounds out a wonderful experience.

    Italian by Night is our 'go to' place of choice whenever we visit Saint John. Tonight, regardless of it being a sold-out night, our service was attentive, efficient, and delicious. The staff never drop a beat, whether on a packed night or a slow night (if there ever is one of those). Michael, our server tonight, didn't rush us--he took the time to explain our options and alternatives in detail. Despite it being such a busy night, he allowed me to amend my order to include my preferences (no smoky bacon) without missing a beat. The food was outstanding, as always, as was the service. Lots of food, piping hot, beautifully presented, with incredible taste. Italian by Night never disappoints--we can't wait until we return again.

    Great evening out, food as always great and service was good. Although tables are very close and could share conversation easily with ones neighbours. Not really a spot for an intimate dining experience with ones partner..
