   Each time we've been to ItalX it has been a great experience from start to finish. Lovely atmosphere, excellent service (from Gustavo on both occasions), delicious and affordable food and wine. Highly recommend.

   Italx continues to be my favorite restaurant in Lexington! Cacio e Pepi my favorite dish. We also love the pesto plate with 4 different options. The dessert special we had (lemon strawberry on puff pastry) was very delicious. Service was wonderful! You should go!

   Food and service were excellent. The food is authentic Italian and well prepared. I've never seen Arancini (Italian Rice balls) on a menu, ordered them and they were awesome. Our entrees (Lasagne and Veal Marsala) were perfect. Dessert was very good as well. This was the first True Italian restaurant I've found in years. The only tiny complaint was we were seated near the open patio doors so the road noise was loud. We will be going again but will ask if we can be seated more inside the restaurant with less road noise and fumes. Other than that I recommend going to try it. There were several other dishes I want to try next time. Happy eating. 😁

   The bruschetta appetizer, with 5 different toppings, the focaccia with ricotta, and the Caesar salad were all excellent. The pasta was fresh and perfectly al dente, but the entrees overall were 'way' too salty (this may have been mainly due to the pecorino or parmesan cheese on them). After what was no doubt a busy day of serving people, they ran out of numerous items by 8 PM. The street noise was very loud, although it was nice to have the doors open to the outside.

   Upon arriving we were very excited. Loved the look of the restaurant. Then we realized the sliding doors leading to the sidewalk were open. Everything from noisy cars to homeless people walking into the restaurant disrupting the ambience. We ordered a couple drink and server gave us a review of the menu. She noted that they were out of 3 menu items, the meatballs, calamari and chicken piccata. We ended up ordering the bruschetta appetizer which was great. Went on to order our entrees, I asked for the lasagna, they were out of that as well. So I opted to try the carbonara. The dish was so small I thought I was being punked or received something off of the kids menu. My fiancées dish she ordered they were also out off, so she opted to basic spaghetti with marinara. I’m not even kidding when I say that I have had better marinara out of a can. This restaurant was such a let down for us celebrating Mother’s Day and our Anniversary. Being out of of 6 menu items at 8pm was shocking to me and a sign of a poorly ran establishment. I wouldn’t recommend and I most definitely won’t be returning.

    Nice lunch of authentic Italian food. Street noise from trucks and motorcycles at times was extremely loud. I think the prices are pretty high for meals that are mainly pasta and bread but not really that different from other restaurants in the downtown area.

    The food and service were both amazing. Server was attentive to every need but didn’t make herself part of our meal. The brunch was delicious, I had spaghetti and meatballs that were far above anywhere else I have had in Lexington. Wife had a lobster omelette and loved it. The focaccia bread with whipped ricotta was a nice appetizer.

    Visited Lexington for the day and found this place on open table. Loved it! The service was great. We were early for our reservation but they were able to still get us seated right away. The beef carpaccio was delicious for an appetizer! I had the carbonara and my friend had a shrimp dish with sun dried tomatoes . Both were cooked perfectly and full of flavor!     This was our first visit. The food was fantastic. The best Caesar salad I’ve had in years. The veal Marsala was so tender and perfectly seasoned. The focaccia was delicious and a beautiful presentation. The arancini was as good as I had in Sicily. The service was excellent. The only negative at all was the noise level but it actually gave the feel of being in a loud establishment in Italy.

    We were running behind so I let the restaurant know and they were still super accommodating! The food is always delicious and we tried an Italian wine that is similar to a Chardonnay — Devine!!! Our waitress recommended it and was spot on!

    This was our second time. Our first visit we had a long wait even to place our order. This time -- prom night, also night of the Lizzo concert (so on my mind, much busier) was a total 180. Our order was taken promptly. Our food came out quickly. It was much faster than I expected! We had the arancini and focaccia to start. The arancini was crispy, cheesy, and so flavorful. Loved the marinara and the pesto. I had veal marsala, my son had spaghetti and meatballs again. Absolutely delightful. We had tiramisu for dessert -- definitely one of the better ones I've had! We will continue to come back. This place is so good.
