The food was outstanding! I ordered the gnocchi alla Vodka, and they were the best gnocchi I've ever tasted. The beef carpaccio was very good and the rest of the dishes were excellent. The ambiance was good and lively, the decoration in good taste and modern. The only annoying thing was the incorporation of a pianist. The restaurant is kind of small and not well insulated to have live music, not to mention a pianist who played the loudest pieces he could find, instead of something more appropriate for the place and the occasion. You could hardly hear yourself think. Before this new addition (the piano) I had gone to this restaurant and liked it very much. Now, the food is even better, but the piano.....

Date night. My datebis vegetarian, and he got a delicious rigatoni with asparagus, peas, mushrooms. I ordered the gnocchi with Italian sausage. We had the artichokes and caprese for apps. Those artichokes are so juicy and delicious! Every was seasoned well and perfect. Best gnocchi I've ever had at a restaurant. Server Nathan was fun, friendly, and knowledgeable. Manager Skyler and owner Al both came by to talk and check on meal. Favorite restaurant in town! Love this place ❤️

Only issue we had is our dish didn’t mention having mushrooms and I have a mushroom allergy. I notified the waiter immediately and he really didn’t want to have it remade. I didn’t want to make a scene since we were with friends so I just picked around them. But he wasn’t apologetic and didn’t really seem to care. Risky because I couldn’t tell if they were also shaved and in smaller pieces. My daughter ended up eating most of it and I only ate the shrimp. As it turns out, I didn’t have my readers on and missed that it was a truffled sauce. My fault. Next time I know to ask before ordering.

Our favorite Italian restaurant in Austin. Love the food, service, atmosphere. Easy parking. It is very convenient to the Long Center, so we use it for a nice pre-concert meal for Austin Symphony performances. The restaurant lives up to its name. We feel we could be in Milan or Florence while we are there.

This quaint little gem is a nice addition to Austin's culinary experience. We've been to several Italian restaurants in town, and this place has now been added to the top of the list. The manager is well versed in wine pairings and suggested a nice Pinot Noir to go with my Piemontese Risotto. The dish was delicious and very trufle forward, which I liked. However, I wish I had ordered a salad or another side dish to go with my meal. My husband got the Ossobuco, which he loved. He hadn't had it in decades and was delighted to have the opportunity again. Our waitress, Grace, was pleasant and attentive. All in all, this was an elevated dining experience without the overly pretentious tendencies other fine dining establishments tend to have. People were dressed from t-shirts to cocktail dresses. It's quintessential Austin. We'll definitely be back.

Attended Wine Dinner on 06SEP for a friend's birthday. Live piano music performed by David Webb was stellar. Service was so friendly. The owners, Al and Charbella, welcome you. They are so full of life and joy, and that spirit shines in the food. Prawns, Ossobuco agnolotti, foie Gras lamb chops, and chocolate tort with hazelnut shavings. Everything was paired and cooked with and in wine. Al shares a story of each dish, and the wine rep shares a story of each wine. Truly an unforgettable, amazing, and of course delicious experience. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and go to one of these wine dinners. Ciao

Food was very good. Very high noise level. Which for me, detracts from the overall enjoyment of the meal. I couldn’t hear the person sitting immediately across from me. Service was excellent and the portions were satisfying. I highly recommend the sorbet - we had raspberry- it was delicious!

Great service, nice ambience, food was unimpressive. Limited menu, especially in the pasta section. Trout was ok, but way overseasoned and overcooked, Pasta was fresh and nicely cooked but sauce was uninteresting.

The restaurant is a little gem with a very elegant and at the same time cozy atmosphere. The service is outstanding, especially a young man that I think is the manager. The cocktails are very good, and the wine list really very long and varied. The food is good and tasty, especially the mango sorbetto. I'm planning on going back to try other specialties.
