    Ivy is a lovely dining experience although it wasn’t the experience we had from our first visit. We were at table 10 near the window and across from the dirty dishes/kitchen drop off, quite distracting. The servers need to be cognizant of the patrons nearby and should keep the curtain drawn. Appetizers were amazing but the entrees weren’t amazing. Actually the cannelloni was too HOT (temp.). We were probably comparing it to our first visit which was absolutely amazing down to the Prosecco taster and the warm cookies before our dessert. There was no Prosecco, not a deal breaker the cookies were an afterthought that came with the bill.

    This is a lovely restaurant that we usually enjoy very much. However on this day it took an hour to get our meal, and 15 minutes to get a cup of coffee! Not good for a weekday lunch away from work. When we finally got our meals they were tasty but had too much oil.

    While the Ivy was busier than usual due to an external delay created by events beyond their or their patrons' control the staff remained involved and engaged in providing an excellent experience. The mussel and shrimp special was wonderful while my companion's pasta, mussel, shrimp and scallop order was found to be just a bit too heavy for what was anticipated for a seafood dish. Amazingly, they provided a bit of compensation relief due to the comments which was surprising and appreciated.

    The food was amazing and the chef went above and beyond to make sure our meal was perfect. Our waiter Tom was so engaging and on top of service all night. What a great way to spend our anniversary

    We were a group of 6 ladies out for a social lunch on a Tuesday. Our server Jessie was wonderful, he was very pleasant and accommodating. The Ivy does it up so well….they offer a welcoming tasting of Prosecco and a complimentary plate of Bruschetta. Our meals were delicious, 5 of us ordered salads and one lady had the special mussels of the day. Then we had complimentary warm chocolate chip cookies. We will definitely be back for a special occasion.

    This is a wonderful restaurant with beautiful ambiance and great food. A nice change from all of the London chains . We have gone here three times now for special occasions. The only issue we have that will prevent us from attending this winter is that the heat is cranked up quite a bit inside. If you are sensitive to that as our party was, it can make for an enjoyable dining experience. When you feel sweat beading on the back of your neck and diners feel like ripping off their long sleeved shirts, it is most frustrating.. we asked the waiter to turn down the temperature and it helped somewhat. I would say we may wait until it is patio time before we attend again.

    We ordered a pasta and flat iron steak. The pasta was fantastic. For the steak, we ordered medium rare. In fact, what came out was tiny portion in the middle being medium well done and the majority of the steak was well done(no pink colur at all). It was nice that we were offered a new one, but it took over 25 min for the order to come out that we did not want to wait another 25 min or so. The server informed that it will take long time as well. Other than this issue, everything was very good, that I would recommend this restaurant to my friends.

    A very pleasant dinner with friends. Our server was excellent. Portions were large. Oysters and meatballs the highlight. Large , impressive wine selection. Would not hesitate to recommend to any one of our friends.

    Will 100% go again. Deserts are like $15 or more maybe, thought that was a bit much but the main food menu is excellent and at a great price. Delicious food. I recommend the Chicken parmesan. You can’t go wrong with other options.

    Had been looking forward to dining here and was unfortunately a little disappointed. Upon being seated, we were pleasantly surprised to be given complimentary bruschetta and Prosecco which was a very nice start to our evening! Ordered the calamari for our app. which was supposedly pan seared but upon arrival, appeared and tasted as it had been boiled and was very chewy. The entrees came out almost an hour after our app. not too pleased with the wait. Ordered the filet mignon and chicken supreme roulade - the plates looked absolutely delicious and the portions were perfect. The flavour for the chicken was a little underwhelming: chicken was overcooked and stuffing was okay, overall dish needed salt. Vegetables were delicious though :) Filet was cooked perfect and very tender. Aside from the app, wait time, and chicken entree, everything else was wonderful. For the price, I was definitely expecting flavourful dishes. Would love to try the other dishes as they sound and look amazing, but we'll see!

    I took a date to ivy ristorante and it was amazing, from the food to the service, all top notch. They had live music to make the atmosphere a bit more romantic. Only downfall was I requested a private table but there wasn’t one when I had arrived but the staff went out of their way to rectify the situation. Was very happy.

    I ordered the filet mignon with sauteed seasoned vegetables and mashed potatoes. The sauteed seasoned vegetables turned out to be a rutabaga cut into strips and embedded into the mashed potatoes. Not sure why. The filet mignon was then nestled on top of the rutabaga strips atop of the potatoes and was covered in crispy onion straws and a demi glace. Took me a while to remove the rutabaga strips from the mashed potatoes and scrape off/salvage the mashed potatoes and scrape off the demi glace and onion straws to find my $60 filet. A nice restaurant wants fancy plating, but I personally could do without.
