                                                                  Excellent food and service and will definitely go again. Went for lunch and for whatever reason the place was basically empty so not much of an atmosphere. Perhaps it’s mostly a dinner place so if you like a little more ambience that could be a better option. But again, food and service was top notch!

                                                                  The quality of the fish is very high. Portions are a tad small. JaBistro is more of a work lunch or dinner restaurant, and may not be best for special occasions. But I would definitely come again!

                                                                  If there could be a perfect meal it would be the Omakase menu served at Ja Bistro. It is a large’ish meal because of the number and size of the dishes, but the start with the comfort of lobster miso soup readies you for waygu carpaccio and flights of sashimi and sushi, including a hand roll, the simplicity of which (with its tuna and single lotus leaf) will have you wondering whether that could be the best you have ever tasted. The final waygu nigiri is not the final piece however. An ample, perfect caramel panna cotta has that finishing role. We paired with sake but just do this. Reasonably priced for the quality and portions.

                                                                  It was our first time at JaBistro trying their omakase dinner. We had a great time catching up over great food. The lobster miso soup was a bit salty but the first few bites were delicious. Highly recommend it if you are celebrating something!

At 175 the value speaks for itself: the lobster miso is not an ordinary soup, it is delightfully delicious, and acts as a strong opening for the experience; the sashimi platter that follows are of the highest quality , mostly Japanese fish that we do not get frequently, served with aged house soy souse and fresh wasabi, just like in Japan, it elevates the experience; next course is selected sushi with the emphasis on the freshness and elegant aburi, with wagyu and foie gras serving as the pinnacles to us. Last but not least was panacotta rated by my family as the best in town. The eve was simply superb, thx for creative cocktails from Paul, beautiful sake and unbelievable service from the team! We did sit at the counter and truly loved piece-by-piece service from the chef! 6 Stars!
